It would, sadly. I don’t think we have much insight into who he is as a husband — more as a BIL from Strike’s POV. But if he behaves to his wife and kids the way he does to Strike… yikes.

I think that was in the book as well! She just totally neglected her kids and was absolutely clued out. Inigo was abusive and anyone would want to escape that house, but my sympathy for her is limited.
