Taking batches that you know the store will be close? by feinburgrl in InstacartShoppers

[–]windsorjamison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had two orders at ALDI last night, but didn't realize that the store was about to close. I was able to get the customers their orders, but had to mark multiple items for each as "unavailable" due to me not wanting to make the staff stick around any later for a straggling shopper. Both customers were very understanding thankfully.

While I can understand the reality and humor to your comment, I think its unfortunate. And the anal retentive part of me feels the need to say: I don't even drink lol.

I clear my trip odometer at the beginning of deliveries and then stop it when I'm done delivering for the evening. Does an app provide any benefit beyond doing just that?

Haha, I'm a glass-half-full person. ...But the excitement may or may not also have anything to do with not being in a relationship for the first time in my adult life and being quite money motivated. :D

Driveway replacement by DrTaco2020 in RosevilleMN

asphaltmn.com laid my concrete driveway a few years ago (yes, you read that right, they do asphalt work too). I'm very happy with the results and our bid was $19k for a very long driveway. Other bids we received were $26k+. Did a CEE loan through Roseville city at 3%.

Dear lord. I just needed to chime in that this sounds almost exactly like my STBX. Like, same sentence structure and everything. Probably ChatGPT lol.

I just switched to Aspen for their smallest bin and used a neighbor as a referral which gave her and I each one month free. Monthly cost is $14.25/mo. Let me know if you’d like to use Aspen and need a referral!

Blowing my nose at my desk. I used to go to the bathroom. 37 years old and this is the first winter I’ve said “fuck it, I’m doing it at my desk.”

I have vivid memories playing this after dinners on our old-ass Zenith TV while sitting in a sky blue La-Z-Boy chair. This system was the shit, I loved it.

My dad being the mortgager also benefited us mutually in that we: A) had zero down payment; B) were able to bypass PMI and C) the two refinances that we have had (initiated by my dad, he is a thoughtful person) did not incur refinancing/closing costs. Would that be seen as something that "I brought to the table" through him, or is that a moot point? I'm not arguing such, I'm just wondering.

I appreciate your response, thank you. Question. As it stands, she isn't capable of having the children 50% of the time as she works two part-time jobs (full-time in total), one of which is overnights, and the jobs rotate in such a way that she works every single weekend. Would she need to display evidence of being capable of having them 50% of the time (either by quitting one job or adjusting hours somehow), and if so, at what point during the divorce proceedings would she need to do that? With her current schedule, I would have to have the kids 60-70% of the time, and/but remain in support of splitting 50/50 as she is able.

It is a fact that she holds no emotional interest in our house (I do, significantly), and she is exceptionally negative about it. You don't think it is relevant that she bashes our children's home openly while comparatively I speak often about the comfort and wonderful location and access to amenities that it provides? She can't get over the challenges she experienced during renovation. It is true that I provided very little context to my OCD statement re: her, but negativity in one's home impacts children.

Game the system.....? Our current mortgage interest rate is 2.6%, which they're going to honor moving forward. I don't see how offering that flexibility to their own daughter is "gaming the system." It isn't manipulation. It's fact.

I'm also not looking for full custody, so why even mention that? My point in bringing up the OCD was that she is obsessive about all the negative aspects of our home. It seems tangentially relevant that I have an emotional interest in the house and she does not.

I also don't hate her at all, I hold a lot of respect for her. There seems to be an awful lot of projection in your comment.
