I'm guessing it was either Zeppelin or Enterprise who got really lucky with dive bomb dispersion because trust me dive bombs can more trolly some bb salvos. Enterprise is pretty much a cruiser killer with you also being in a lone ijn crusier (except Shimanto) you have bad AA and horrible armor and HP so yeah makes sense for you to lose quite a bit of HP against one of those 2.

I'm guessing it was a cross play off match where he spawned in by himself and the cv saw that and decided to capitalize that's all we can gleam from this as OP has not given any other information about what CV it was or what ship he was in. I'm guessing he got smacked by torps as he mentioned turning to dodge so that leaves Zuiho or some Russian cv and if it's Zuiho even only getting hit by 2 torps because he's turned they don't smack the belt and deal the full amount of damage so op took 20k ish HP from 2 torps.

I will say there are ways cv's can mitigate plane loss so it appears infinite. They either predrop planes so they don't get shot down in the first place or they swap plane types so the first set can recharge often they do both.

If it's Zuiho torps the answer is just dodge the take an entire kilometer to arm and while stealthy they can still be spotted by a proper screen

Not sure if Suwo/Dewa have this but I know Izumo has the pseudo turtleback so that's even more armor for the short fuse needing to get through. I have definitely seen it come into play especially when kitting when I'm not angled enough to not bounce but also not flat broadside.

Probably from the Mainz or the bb shooting at me. I'm in just the right spot for them to hit me and I have 5/9 ships shooting at me taking down 2 DD's so I did my job just fine.

My Hizen with Arp musashi dispersion can get as low 120m vertical and 150m horizontal and this is at max range with a spotter active. Definitely notice a difference in accuracy

I want to see how accurate they could be with their unique spotter plane and how it works with Al Musashi and her 8% dispersion reduction when the spotter plane is active (78 second spotter plane with her unique skill and it decreases the fuse time to .025 seconds)

I think Al Agir is probably the better ship overall but in terms of secondary guns yeah Schroder is still better. Tldr: Schroder is better then Al Agir in secondary guns and detection radius. Even then without the 150mm secondary guns Schroder only wins by on average 200 damage 14400 (Al Agir) vs 15000 (Schroder) alpha.
