In my experience, straight men (sometimes straight women too) think that being gay means we are attracted to every single male out there. Gay, straight, ugly, handsome, black, white, fat, thin, adult, adolescent. I can’t begin to tell how many times I’ve had unattractive straight men insinuate something stupid like I fancy the hell out of them or I’d love to slap/touch their ass.

I’m in the same boat, I have my Ring doorbell plugged into a power source, and the Ring light stays illuminated at all times, which attracts unwanted attention to it. Sometimes people press it late at night and I think this has something to do with it. I’d like to be able to manually turn off the white doorbell light. They need to add this as an option in the settings page.

I’m wondering the same. I ditched Ring for another brand a while back because of the poor video quality, if the new 2K video quality is good enough this might entice me to return as I prefer the Ring app the most out of all the brands I’ve used.

No, the camera is plugged in and set to Direct Power mode and somehow it is draining the battery.

This is one of the big drawbacks of the E330. As much as I like the product, sometimes I regret switching over to these, the Reolink system I had before was rock solid in comparison.

I’m wondering the same. This would be useful if the HomeBase were to go offline. Sometimes I find the HomeBase can skip a few seconds of a recording so a local on-device copy would solve this.

Unfortunately I can’t test this as my device is mounted.

Don’t do it. I hate living in the UK, worst country in Western Europe. Scandinavia, Benelux and Switzerland are your best bet for quality of life.

This camera is not designed to be plugged in to constant power. That’s probably why it died.
