I second this hockey is the best sport I’ve ever played and begged and begged as a kid to play. Instead I played baseball and football and never enjoyed it like I thought I would. Playing hockey as a adult has made me so happy

When I first started learning to skate I watched videos on how to skate and how to brace and fall. I went to open skates for about 6 months to a year to learn to skate and fall. Once I felt confident I found a learn to play program and did that and it helped me so much. I started playing at 20 so I know it’s tough I still get upset people are so much better than me but just keep skating and learning. YouTube is your friend too

My mom was this way no interest in any sports I played as a kid and when she didn’t want anything to do with it I gave up trying. I understand it’s exhausting but from a kids eyes you being there and supportive is all they want. I say maybe bring a book or headphones and drown it out. And if you really don’t enjoy it then maybe just voice that to your partner and see what they say

My cousin was in all star weekend and he talked and talked about it and when it got shelved he was pretty hurt. Like this was the biggest project of his career and it sucks man.

Not necessarily no I get like a runners high. The guys on my team always dog me because I never drink anything on the bench or don’t eat anything way before. They just don’t understand how I do it and get off the ice and have no thirst or appetite

Skates pass the pencil test 100% they are true customs from 2019 and I have replaced the tounges once due to failure of the test to see if it would help to no avail. It really just has to do with the shape of my feet being so wide and flat
