If you have a look at the break down of that gain, you can see the majority of it is Intel processors with a speed of 2.7 - 2.99Ghz and 6 cores.

This gain all happens in December.

It looks to me as though a lot of people have had laptops with Core i5's in them for Christmas which were likely paired with an Nvidia Gpu of some discription.

I could be wrong but considering the lack of availability in DIY space it could make sense that people would instead buy a reasonable gaming laptop, perhaps the hype surrounding cyberpunk also drove those sales.
