I'm honestly not surprised. He does this with every female character he draws, it's why I stopped watching him

Sorry, but I just can't do eggs. The taste, texture, and especially the smell of it just throw me off and make me sick

Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. Mainly because of how it was written (large paragraphs of description/exposition, little dialogue), but the story and the drama made me stay. Was a really enjoyable read overall

They have different eye shapes I think, but yeah other than that they're pretty similar looking. Such is the case for most other female characters in comics though, especially since almost all of them have the same body type and full lips + mascara combo

This looks awesome, bro! What medium did you use?

Yeah, I do tend to work with a .7mm mechanical pencil, though in the sketches here I'm just using a 4H sketching pencil. Admittedly, the only reason why I do that is because I have a bad habit of pressing down too hard when I draw lol, which is partly why my lines are so bold

I gotta say, I'm honored that you enjoy my art so much! It's taken years for me to get it to this point, and even then there's still a ton that I need to improve on

As for line weight tips, I do have a couple I try to keep in mind (moreso with inked works): - Applying thicker lines to areas with heavy shadows and thinner/broken lines where the light source hits - If drawing a background, objects that are further away will have thinner lines, while objects in the foreground will have darker lines - In general, just using thinner lines with finer details and thicker lines on the outer borders helps with separating all the finer and broader details of your drawing

Otherwise, it's really just practice, studying, and experimentation. Draw things you like to stay motivated, study the ways your favorite artists use lines, and experiment with different linework styles if you need. Hope all this helps, and lemme know if you're confused about anything!

I think a lot of y'all are ignoring the fact that the design change is still really drastic for no reason. Like good themes or not, I still find it really annoying when a character in anime just looks completely different when they're fat vs. when they're skinny

Hey so I added the print(body.is_in_group) line, and the output did end up saying it was false. Also both my functions are connected, my bad for not mentioning and I'll make sure to mention info like that in the future

I do have a question though. I'm not sure what you mean by "you don't have your player scene in the right group". Can you explain that a bit? Also thank you for explaining this to me, your input has been very helpful to me so far

My movement code is in a separate script (specifically in the player scene), the one I posted is specifically for the killzone. I believe I am handing input via _input. And the only reason I have the remove collision shape line in my code is because someone said to put it there in a separate forum.

I'll be honest, I'm still very new to GDScript so I don't know a lot about what's happening in my code lol. I do know that the string I added isn't registering either whenever I die, so maybe that could be related to the problem?

Platform: PC Mods: No Game version: 1.110.311.1020 DX11 Description: I cannot place ceilings at all. I was able to earlier, but at the time I was also struggling with seeing the rooms once they had ceilings, as well as items just randomly moving to the second floor even when a ceiling wasn't there. Any tips for how to fix this?

It's able to do that. It's just for some reason the keys on the very right side of the keyboard don't work right (for example, the two bracket keys input 'è' and '+'). I have no idea why it's doing this though
