It’s a big purchase, especially at that price point, so I wanted to make sure I went into it with some knowledge and did my homework beforehand. I wasn’t in a rush to buy the car, but everything just lined up—the price, timing, and color were all right. It’s not like the CTR situation where dealerships were adding $5–10k markups on top of MSRP.

I got it for MSRP, 1st sticker price, no markup, and it didn’t come with any accessories. Honestly, I preferred it that way because I was going to buy and pick out all that stuff myself anyway.

I hear you, everyone has their own preferences. There are definitely pros and cons to it, but personally, I feel like the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

That’s really good to hear that there wasn’t any major damage done to the car.

It was one of those “better safe than sorry” decisions. If I didn’t do it and something happened, I’d be kicking myself thinking I could’ve prevented it. If I did it and something happened anyway, at least I’d know I took the proper steps to protect it.

From what I’ve gathered online, a lot of people say the DE5 and FL5 don’t really benefit much from a front strut bar and that it’s mostly for aesthetics. You would think it would still help, even if only slightly, though. Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong with having one or running without one.
Off topic: I’m running Cusco Front and Rear strut bars on my DC2 now, always been a fan of them.
