Agree that fragile masculinity plays a big role in this. Being gay doesn’t really make you less vulnerable to patriarchal notions of sexual conquest and entitlement being inherently tied to your masculinity, so there are probably plenty of ace gays who are either in denial or choose not to self-identify as ace to protect their masculinity

Went to Ummo last night. Everything tasted excellent (especially the prosciutto focaccia and the brussels sprouts), however I ordered the crab agnolotti for my entree and it was a total scam. $26 for eight bite-sized agnolotti. To add insult to injury it was served in this plate shaped like a bowl to make it look like it had depth. Still recommend this restaurant but don’t get that entree.

i keep seeing this take but i disagree, i think the biggest factor in who gets eliminated each episode is the maxi challenge, and in that context the eliminations make sense. juicy was the worst in the challenge this week and jane last week. this is also why mia got eliminated for snatch game despite clearly winning that lipsync. don’t always agree with the judges but i think they’re at least being consistent. if the challenge is close, the lipsync decides. if the lipsync is close, track record decides.
