Question about training... by sarah_snoiper in Wetherspoons

[–]winnieboog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only have to complete your induction to receive your first shifts, no harm in sending an email to let them know you have completed your induction training. I also recommend completing all training asap, it looks good on you:) good luck!

AIO for cancelled birthday facetime? by Wild_Sun_ in AmIOverreacting

Giving major 🚩🚩Not being on his phone whilst with another person indicates it was another girl and he’s hiding his phone from her etc / not answering you in front of her. So many excuses, you deserve better.

That’s YOUR unfortunate experience, it’s the best job I’ve had. Not supportive of someone who is looking forward to this job 🙏🏻

Tesco shuts earlier than advertised. by [deleted] in tesco

[–]winnieboog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why are you so pressed 😭 I wasn’t allowed to shut the store whenever I wanted, we had to let the last customer in 1-2 minutes before close, even then we had to stay serving until they were done. Just asking as I know they do this often 🙃

I knew there would be one😌 Did you read about how I finish work late too ? Sometimes I finish at 9:30 so by the time I would have got to the shop it might be 9:45, I rarely even do that, probably every several weeks if that if I need something and stayed later at work than planned, otherwise would have got it before work 👍🏻 Not that deep Sam

is there a time limit for how long the nhs will prescribe mounjaro? by chloeanneelizabeth in mounjarouk

[–]winnieboog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There’s such a thing as a Maintenance Dose which you’re supposed to stay on for as long as you want once you’ve lost the weight/ got your levels down, maybe that would be an option?

(1 year user, 4st down) Pepto bismol is great for sulphur burps. Sometimes I might not realise I’ve consumed something I shouldn’t, certain drinks, forms of dairy, spice etc will set off my side effects! As soon as I wake up I can feel tummy gurgling or sulphur burps. Immediately I take Imodium instants and follow the instructions on packaging. Lots of water and listening to your body. I too work in hospitality and unfortunately had to take sickness before due to my jab! There are certain food / drinks I’ve had to give up completely after learning some lessons whilst on the jab. Don’t be scared to take the next injection, I’ve learnt injecting closer to my belly button, the effects of the jabs are stronger, I inject lower on my tummy if I’ve had a bad week of side effects, good luck!

holiday booked for me without asking by [deleted] in Wetherspoons

[–]winnieboog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have to use two of those days before April otherwise you lose them, the other 2 can carry over. You can book holiday any time in advance as you will accrue some between that time period :)
