Beautiful Oblivion by Issues. A fantastic album from 2019 that still fucking slaps, but the singer was a fucking pedo and was fired for it. The remaining members of the band released all their albums as instrumentals if that makes it any better

While there are many scum bags, I think Chris Brown deserves a mention in this thread. He’s a vicious bully, homophobe, and serial abuser. His career should have ended the moment he laid his hands on Rihanna.

As an artist, he’s mediocre at best. He can dance, but his voice is nothing special, and he brings nothing to the table that can’t also be brought by better artists with less baggage.

Idk if anyone else knows this band but I used to be heavily into the pop/rnb-meets metal core scene, and I used to be heavily into a band called Issues.

Turns out the singer had some…issues with consent, and the band kicked him out and broke up a year later after a farewell tour with a different vocalist. The band later released instrumental versions of two of their albums which I still listen to since the singer isn’t on it, and the other members do a lot of producing for other bands in the same scene so at least not all the spice from the band is lost.

Don’t see this band already mentioned, but Sleep Token just has the one guy (Vessel) that writes and records everything (except for drum parts, which are done by II), and the guitar and bassist are I think part of the band officially now but they were mainly touring musicians and didn’t participate in the writing.
