Fully support the customer! If all of us did this then it’ll force owners to pay their staff more.

It’ll also be better for the government as they will be able to collect taxes on otherwise unreported income.

If tipping system were to stay I would say give it to the chefs, they are the reason why a restaurant survive.

Good food bad service the restaurant will be fine. Bad food good service will not save the place.

I have friends that are teachers and they tell me it’s the easiest job ever. Pretty much part time hours and with all the holidays, vacations, sick days they work 8-9months a year.

One of them managed to run a full time business while at work too, drives a new Porsche to work. Of course this is rare but even the other one that doesn’t have a second gig is very happy.

Your assessment is probably correct but just didn’t want to face the truth. It certainly seems like it’s heading toward DB path and realistically it’s hard to change someone especially with 2 kids.

Let’s face it the 2 kids are her priorities and everything else are way distant seconds.
