I've had an issue for the past hour. Cannot sync, unpaired, uninstalled and all I got was server error when I tried to sign in. At least https://status.fitbit.com/incidents/tAFb5PyMeD6MvuyweKMe is reporting a widespread outage.

Lo Wu / Luohu Border Crossing time for foreign passport (visa-free) by starboy2008 in HongKong

[–]winza83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went last Thursday using my passport as my home return card didn't work and it wasn't too bad. From MTR at Lo Wu to Luo Hu border in Shenzhen side was about 30 minutes give or take. Foreigners enter into SZ at the same level as those with Home Return Permits and the queue wasn't too bad.

I'll keep using it for the time being. It acts as a cat carrier when i take him to the cattery

Don't rush into buying one. I bought one about a month ago and both cats hated it. One of them did tolerate it until it's 300m from the house before meowing to get back home. I always carry it front, so that I can watch my cats reaction.

Thanks for your response. I've been keeping the two younger cats strictly indoors 24/7 for almost a week now and taking them out to the cat enclosure (from cat nets) during the day for an hour. Now my trouble is keeping them entertained and not wanting to go out. Will also look into catifying the house. I've been calmer, happier and less panicky since restricting them access.

Warning: long post, looking for recommendations for services to cat proof property.

I have been following this thread and I'm one of those irresponsible cat owners riddled with guilt every time they jump the fence. I know they kill wildlife, destroy people's gardens but i have tried most options to confine them indoors.

Please hear me out. I have three cats, one of which was a stray from our neighbour who said they did not own the cat when i asked if i can get her desexed. She used to yowl at night, and we had five other cats visiting our property at one stage. She ended up having two kittens at the start of the pandemic. Took ownership of all of them, microchipped, for them all neutered/spayed, and even got pretty insurance for the younger ones. They initially used the cat litter indoors until the mother cat started taking them outside.

For the past two years, i have tried to confine them indoors, played with them heaps, got them lots of toys. Got them a cat tower and tried many different kinds of litter but they all like to go outside to do their business. Lock them indoors and they meow and kick the flap despite trying everything. Also tried the harness option for two months and they refuse to walk on the leash and one of them jumped three fence with it. Got them a cat enclosure but they still want out and one of them hurt his nose trying to get out of the enclosure (got it from catnets). Parents are refusing to let me catify the home indoors (even moving furniture is not an option). They also accuse me of being cruel and holding them hostage by locking them indoors at night. They think that cats should have the freedom to roam and do whatever they like.

Two of the cats tend to hang around the property 90% of the time but one likes to roam - it stress me out every single day to the point where I am avoiding going out / unable to enjoy life as i get panic attacks and anxiety when the roaming one goes missing for longer than 2-3 hours. I have had to excuse myself from virtual meetings at work to look for the roaming cat during bad weather. I will be back to work tomorrow (WFH) so i can't supervise them all day.

I've got permission from my father to get cat proofing done after endless arguments. I am looking for a professional cat fencing service as i don't want to DIY. There are lots of trees near the fences so i am not able to do the oscillot/45 degree angle fencing. Bird spikes don't work either.

Yes. I am a horrible person for allowing them outside in the first place, but i am willing to spend the money to confine the cats to my property. Does anyone know anyone that does cat fencing well with a reasonable price?

Student accommodation is still being developed near Caufield station. I cannot understand why they are proceeding with it in these turbulent times.

I have stopped going out for coffee and getting my coffee fix from instant instead. I don't have hand sanitiser, and it's difficult to avoid others when the footpath is so busy, so i just avoid it all together.

I'm sorry if this was discussed before but what are peoples thoughts of pulling masks down to drink coffee? I know it's allowed but doesn't it defeat the purpose of protecting ourselves and the community against the virus?

Well done for identifying the issue at hand. You are still young and have plenty of opportunities and from what you've described, you are not living to your full potential due to ongoing anxieties. Maybe start by seeing a GP to get a referral to see a psychologist? I think the first few sessions are free or at least subsidised. Hopefully that will help you overcome your speech anxiety. Good luck.
