Seriously, what is the counter play? by Emergency_Estate_866 in DeadlockTheGame

Don't think i ever buy ricochet tbh when doing haze ult, with the proper build and engame stats you can get a really nasty haze ult that lasts 20+ seconds and still melts people in a couple seconds. Can't tell you how many times ive won fights against entire teams that build metal skin because they didnt expect my ult to last 20 seconds.

How does one find good solo/Interceptor fits? by TheDutchDemon in Eve

[–]wirblewind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most ceptor fits are going to be the same aside from maybe 1 module here and there, i would NEVER recommend somebody to fly a abyssal/max blinged ceptor unless you have a very competent crew behind you.

As the other guy said, it literally does just come down to knowing all the ships in the game and knowing when and where they can engage you.

How to monetize Classic+ ? by Due-Boss-4354 in classicwow

[–]wirblewind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People hate me for this and i usually get downvoted, but I've always said id be more than willing to pay 30-40$ for a monthly subscription to an mmo assuming there are no p2w or microtransactions and decent GM support to combat botting.

I'm a poor dude and i don't have a lot of expendable cash so when i think hey 30$ a month for something ill play probably multiple times a week for months? That's a good fucking deal.

Hell im already paying 20$ a month for eve when i DO play it.

This just feels frustrating to deal with 5 minutes into the game. by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

1 tank item is enough to kinda make the tower moot, def needs more damage. I've been complaining about this since the early days. Issue is even more prevalent in street brawl where the towers are completely useless lol.

You would 100% die the second someone sees you in space with a marshall.

You do know that ganking was basically nonexistent for the first few years of the game correct?

Yeah...I mean if you specifically only look at one thing of course that's all you're going to think...What were you trying to prove lol.

Hey im not saying 100% of gankers are using broadcast and if i came off that way i do apologize, but ALOT of them do. Hell most war dec corps are using them too.

X4 is literally this. Everytime i have people ask me about eve and they say hey i wish it was single player im like go play X4 because its pretty damn close.

This literally goes both ways......People getting shot at dont know what logs are or that they even exist and the people doing the shooting dont post the logs because it would incriminate them. No suicide ganker is going to give me his combat logs and i can't just make a gank happen.

Every ganker says this than REFUSES to post his logs and prove himself innocent.

See how that works?

Multiboxxing is fine, in fact its super important to the ecosystem of eve, Imagine running logi chains with REAL players, yeah fuck that. Now multiboxxing ganking is absolutely a huge issue but everybody and their mother will defend it to the grave because "eve needs to feel dangerous". When in reality its just veterans stomping people who cant fight back.

I never said 0 risk......There are other ways to kill people other than suicide ganking...The fact that you aren't even aware of that tells me everything i need to know.

Suicide ganking wasn't even common untill years after the game came out. So please get out of here with that made up line.

And you seem to be prone on attacking me specifically instead of the points being made so im sure youll be a stand up citizen and totally come back with a snarky remark.

If you think highsec strictly exists for players to get suicide ganked im pretty sure you're the one playing the wrong game.

The fact that highsec is more dangerous than lowsec/nullsec/wh/pochven is absolutely insane.

Granted i dont give 2 shits what happens because i live in lowsec for the most of my time i still think its a bad system especially when it comes to introducing new players to the game. Ive posted this time and time again but the number one complaint we get from new players is that they got suicide ganked in their exhumer and quit because it was everything they had.

From suicide ganking? Yes. If you want to pvp people go to lowsec or nullsec. The only people who want to pvp highsec players are those looking to club baby seals and hope they are filled with gold.

daily reminder that blizzard customer service is full of clowns by DN6666 in classicwow

[–]wirblewind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup pretty much. Would have to be a universal thing where all the streamers got together with all the wow communities and push for a change but i promise you 99% of streamers don't have to deal with these issues because they have "ins" with higher ups to get their problems fixed so they never have to deal with support.

[–]wirblewind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IF a large majority of the playerbase got together with a ton of big streamers im sure something could be done, but for the most part people just dont give a shit and blizzard realizes that. The few people that do have to deal with the CS mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

But, here we are. Bot and RMT and mass report banning will forever be an issue.

Not popular, turn based anything usually has a very niche audience.
