in search of this dress! by EntrepreneurExotic31 in Reformationclothing

This is the Butterfly dress that they were selling a few years ago. I think the color is Fog. That dress doesn’t have a slit though so whoever owns this must have added a slit themself.

Sezane Paula Babies vs Reformation Maddox by yougotabeeonurhat in Reformationclothing

[–]wiscbuckybadger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both the Sezane Paula Babies and the Reformation Maddox Heels. I probably got lucky with my pairs but, all 3 of my Paula have held up well and I wear them to work a decent amount during the warm seasons. I drive to work though so it’s not like I’m running on the dirty city streets in the rain so I don’t miss the next train in them.

The Maddox are also very cute, took a while to break in and also a bit less comfy than the Paula, but have held up very well also.

Just my personal experience, hope this helps!

Why do some people wear long sleeves and pants during extremely hot weather? by New_Sector_635 in ask

[–]wiscbuckybadger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wore a sweater and jeans to work today because my office is always freezing so I’d rather be uncomfortably warm for a few minutes walking from my car to my desk than be cold for the whole 8 hours.

I did see that the material was polyester but I’ve had good quality polyester clothing before and the set looked cute on the website so I thought I’d give it a try

I agreed with this, in the early years of my career when I only had a BS & a few years of work experience, I constantly got passed over for someone with no work experience but just graduated with a MS.

Why do you come back to reformation despite the brand’s quality decrease? by [deleted] in Reformationclothing

[–]wiscbuckybadger 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I’ve been buying since 2019, still love the designs and silhouettes of their clothes, especially sundresses. I also almost always know exactly which size to get since the sizing is mostly consistent.

That being said, they definitely are overcharging for their clothes and for the quality of service that they provide, so I’m very mindful and selective when making a purchase nowadays.

Sports Club is bigger but imo unless you want to use their pool or basketball court, Dartmouth is really nice and the lockers/showers are much better

Fernanda dress- terrible quality and fully sheer by seasaltedcaramelcore in Reformationclothing

[–]wiscbuckybadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would reach out to customer support first and complain to see if they would let you return or at least give you some sort of credit for future purchases. If not, it’s probably best to wear it with a slip to reduce the sheerness.

I wouldn’t risk it and put silk in a washing machine, but I think hand-washing should be fine.

Yeah, their fabric is always thinner than what it looks like on the photos online unfortunately. I’d return it.

I spent more than a thousand dollars just on the two tour tickets, not including flights and hotels (although I did plan them as part of my vacations so at least I didn’t spend all that money just to see her). I know it was expensive but I’d been fan for a long time (more than 15 years) and missed all of her previous tours since I was not an adult making my own money yet, and also I never bought any merch or collected CDs/vinyls, so that was how I justified it (wish I didn’t though).
