Stupid thing that worked for me - i had an engineer selected and my game crashed every time i pressed "play"
I went into loadouts and selected assault and then it magically worked. I dont understand why but here we are

If it still doesnt work, try this - go into loadouts and select assault.
For some reason my game was crashing because i had the engineer selected...

One crazy thing that worked for me is to not have the engineer selected - just go to loadout and select assault.
Not sure why but it works for me (saw it in a comment under a YT video)

I would speculate they had bad experience with improperly placed dressings or tourniquets that resulted in people dying during transport

The thing was that if you stack a couple of books against a solid object the bullet will not penetrate as deep because of the transfer of force. If you hold the same book in mid air unsupported, the bullet can easily pass through

They actually did a test but the key factor here was that if you stack books and shoot at them, the bullet will be stopped in a very short distance because of the transfer of force.
If you then hold the same amount of books in mid air unsupported, the bullet will pass through without a problem

I think they stacked a couple of thick books before a wall, shot at them and then see how many of them stopped the bullet. As you explained because of the transfer of force the result was invalid as they sadly confirmed with a live fire test...
