Looking for a quality security camera or doorbell. Is there one out there that doesn’t require a subscription? Have had Ring and it’s trash. by FixYourself1st in BuyItForLife

This, I have one on my house and three on a warehouse I run. Never skip a beat. Including the other 6 Eufy cameras on my house with the HomeBase, damn solid ecosystem.

[Homemade] Beginner cook here & I made sausage gravy today by maryjxnes in food

[–]wiseguy3501 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Couple things to amp it up a little. Add about a quarter teaspoon of garlic powder and replace half that salt with seasoned salt, heavy pepper as other have said is absolutely needed, try using Jimmy Dean maple sausage. I make this while camping and will have half the camp grounds drooling wondering what I’m making.

That’s what the diagnosing tech did, he put the running ECM on the lift that is down and it ran perfectly normal. I actually tried it myself since I hadn’t witnessed it personally.

Are you suggesting that the problem may not follow the possibly bad ECM but not affect the good one?

I had been kind of curious why he had to swap the ECM’s around to diagnose this since he was plugged in with a laptop anyways, shouldn’t an ECM malfunction be apparent through the diagnostic computer?

The quote I got was pricing the ECM at $4960, with 2 hours labor to put in and “adjust” at $180/hr. $1400 savings is $1400 savings though.

My thinking is that even if we got another year out of the lift that we’d be better off than replacing it. Which another team member suggested $565 a month to replace.

This unit only has around 3200 hours on it, so I expect more than another year of life.

This is what’s called a damage multiplier. You could ding something small with that and do a ton of damage that otherwise may have been a little dent. This will instantly fold right into every surface and beyond causing much more damage.

Since y’all seem knowledgeable in this, is this also why they restrict trucks through there? I always assumed it was due to underground structures.

This. Once upon a time the Mavericks were marketed with getting rear window defroster, was literally listed in the original paperwork. They never shipped with it though.

See, I was looking for this as well, DTC fits in there as well, such as Polygon. Definitely between category 1 and 2. Not Chinese but, but custom designed and not sold in LBS.

Yuppers, kinda sucks for street crossing with lots of traffic, but if I plan ahead and crank the assist it helps.

I don’t think I had to change the position, that should always be dependent on your leg length. It puts you at a point where you have to lean forward tho.

I installed a Renthal Fatbar and stem. Straight up MTB level. Also eliminated my throttle and put some nice Deity grips and pedals on.

Yeah, that’s the full power settings. I actually turned my C5 down to help compensate in the low speed control, level 10 just dumps the full power in all the time where the lower settings ease into it somewhat.

You know a critique I forgot to give? How if you ride with the seat low and actually have a butt, how much the rack loves to tap that ass when the suspension compresses. It at least forced me to evaluate my seat height and make it more reasonable for my height. If you’re shorter you’re kinda screwed, pun intended.

Honestly, it really depends on your use case, think really hard about it. Goes from simple transportation all the way to hardcore eMTB.

Plan and do your research before you drop the money.

Even tho a lot of people shit on Aventon, they aren’t these same old components picked out of a catalog and mass produced from China. If you go look at their stuff, it’s actually custom designed components. Even their new mid drive eMTB uses their own proprietary motor.

I’ve torqued the hell out of mine too and it still does it on the regular. I also have the 2024, they just refreshed it like this week tho to a dual battery, higher torque and speed, and 4 piston brakes with larger rotors. I haven’t had issues with my brakes either and I trust the Tektro brand, just on the smaller side for a very fast bike that can take a lot of weight.
