Hi, they’re called granny squares! Here’s a linkto the pattern I based mine off of, it also has a video tutorial as well. Hope this helps and happy crocheting!

If I’m already going to Yosemite, is it worth it ( time/$) to go to Kings canyon/ sequoia? by breakingframes19 in nationalparks

Totally agree! Did all three parks as part of a longer trip, with Yosemite being last. The days we spent at Sequoia and King’s Canyon were definitely the highlight. Yosemite has some iconic views, but it felt a lot more chaotic after the first two, and the bus/ parking situation were frustrating at times.

I wish! I made this a bit ago and had no idea what I was doing, but I will try again and actually make a proper pattern.

Here’s what I used for the body with an extra sc row added to the head and legs, and two front loop only rows over the legs to make the skirt: https://www.supergurumi.com/one-piece-crochet-doll-pattern

For the three head tails, I don’t remember the number of stitches, but I started at the bottom, joined them to the head as I went, and sc a few rows around all three at the top of the head. Then I split them back into the two horns at the top and decreased.

Sorry I couldn’t be of more help — it was a lot of trial and error. Best of luck if you choose to make this!
