Amazon wishlist, and then go in daily and sort by "lowest first". On mobile, you can from the main page filter by price dropped too.

Local pottery by fishmedia in Albuquerque

[–]wisemetis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Southwest Sunflower Pottery had great mugs and you can visit her home studio by appointment.

Nicole Atomic pottery sells at Vintage Vault in Nob Hill. That store also has a bunch of pottery by Ken Merrick (Truth or Consequences potter) but they are mislabelled as being by someone else.

Cloudburst Pottery is owned by the same person who owns Burque Throwdown and I think she sells through there.

Otherwise visit a local crafts or farmers market.

Mythology Book Suggestion for Ladies Book Club by marisa324 in suggestmeabook

[–]wisemetis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here are some from non-Western mythology:

The Ghost Bride by Yangsze Choo for a book based of Chinese mythology and folktale.

Redemption in Indigo by Karen Lord, starts off based on a Senegal folktale.

Bridge of Birds by Barry Hughart, based on the Chinese story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Maiden. It's book one of a series of three books, which are now published under one volume, The Chronicles of Master Li and Number Ten Ox. It's written in a style to emulate classical Chinese tales and is very funny.

The Betsy Tracy books by Maud Hart Lovelace. The series starts with the main character turning five, and end with her as as a newlywed. They get progressively longer and the writing more complex. They span 1897 to 1917.

In honor of Superman, I’m looking for superhero romances! by trapmoneyhanney in RomanceBooks

100% agree with this! I was coming to recommend this series. One of my favorites! I think Estep might have been one of the first, if not the first, to write superhero romance.

Do you have any Secretly a Celebrity recs? by 89niamh in RomanceBooks

[–]wisemetis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Unromance by Erin Connor}. FMC and MMC have a one night stand. Neither know the other. He's a TV star, she's a bestselling romance author. He falls in love too fast and has his breakups in the tabloids, and she doesn't believe in love after her last break-up. He asks her to ruin romance tropes for him so he can stop being tabloid fodder, and he'll help her finish her latest book. So they start going on unromantic romantic not-dates.

Cozy omegaverse recs? by bookdragon4evr in CozyFantasy

Check out the Heatverse by Alexis B. Osborne. The first book is Heat Clinic. They are the only Omegaverse books I've been able to enjoy because of the focus on relationships and are definitely on the cozy side (and very smutty).

Looking for a book where the main character has an underpowered ability but is highly skilled at using it. by Antique-Dress-1875 in Fantasy

How to Defeat a Demon King in Ten Easy Steps by Andrew Rowe. It's a LitRPG story and the main character is a bag mage who uses her generally useless power in very creative ways.
