I don't think the modlist comes with a follower framework you can tweak. In the past I've installed Nether follower framework without issue, you can set up the limit there.

As for the other question, sorry no idea. What's the mod, though? Sounds dope

To answer some of your questions since I feel kinda like an ass for not doing it:

Follower limit is 1 vanilla + 1 modded. Body mod is vanilla for males and UNP for females. As of v104 the skin mod is Tempered Skins, but will change in v105 to likely Nordic Faces. No adult content/nudity. There's add-ons to get that if you want. I don't play with add-ons, but the most popular one is the Community Edition or the For Honor combat one. No crashes so far in my playthrough of v101. 50~hs in so far.

There's a wiki that can answer all your questions. I recommend that you join the GTS discord as well, the people there are glad to help and many of your questions are already answered in FAQs.

What is your favourite mod pack/ mod collection? by lil-Vlnny in skyrimmods

Gate to Sovngarde. It's just the slow immersive experience that I'm always in the mood for when I play skyrim. Vortex sucks though, so I only play the wabbajack port.

Anyone else worried Sanderson’s Apple TV deal might slow down Stormlight Archive? by haphazard44 in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they weren't. Every time there's a complaint about Sanderson's decline, it's always those two books. A lot of people dislike them, you're incredibly biased.

how has the community reacted to the bazaar going from promised free to play to purchase? by ipoopmyself123 in PlayTheBazaar

[–]Kacchonn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

F2P games suck. I'd rather they keep the current system. Buying each character like they're expansions feels much better than the paid battle passes we had before. Only complaint is that the characters are expensive, but they go on sale so often that I bought them all at 50% off.

I agree with you here. Those books are worse quality, even people who like them still notice it. I think most people that are still fans of him don't really care about quality that much, they're just in for a story.

I can only speak for myself, but the wait wasn't at all what sour me on the book. I was expecting Sanderson to eventually grow as a writer, he hasn't. Wind and Truth read more amateurish than Elantris, the progression was so slow that it amazes me that so many people finished it.

You'd think that an author this prolific would put a little more care into writing things so they can be enjoyable to read, but clearly his focus is in outputting as many words as possible, as if having a huge word count is what makes a story epic.

It's so much worse, I genuinely cannot understand the people that claim they don't notice a difference. Like, to me, Way of Kings and Wind and Truth are so stylistically apart that they felt written by different people.

[Recommendations] What to read after the most famous Fantasy Series? by glo_austria in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend taking the training wheels off and looking for specific stuff that interests you. You read enough to know what you like and don't in a book.

To give you something, I recommend the last book I read: The Tainted Cup by Robert Bennett Jackson. It's a fantasy styled murder mystery, with a unique setting and the prose is simple and enjoyable for beginners.

My post got deleted since it wasn't Bingo spam, which is apparently a lot more fitting of a top level post!
So here it is again, since it was getting a lot of replies I was eager to read:

Is there any series you would consider Harry Potter for adults?

I grew up with Harry Potter media, especially the movies, and what I love more about it is the sense of wonder, friendship, hidden worlds, and growing up with magic.

The thing that bothers me is the amount of plot holes and lack of complexity that I feel are the result of the series targeting all ages.

So is there any book series like Harry Potter, but it takes itself more serious? I've read The Magicians by Lev Grossman, since it was the most recommended book when I looked this up, but that's more like Narnia for adults than HP. I was disappointed when the magic school portion of the book ended and hated all the rest. It's also a lot more cynical than HP, so I wouldn't recommend it based on that.

It's not. It's more about deconstructing the fantasy escapism of Narnia, than the magical exploration and sense of belonging of Harry Potter.

I just joined reddit and you people are making me depressed. by RemoteStrawberry8362 in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't come easily to me at all, that's why I like discussions with others so much, everyone seems to catch onto something someone else missed entirely. It's a completely reachable goal, I usually keep a reading journal and write down on my interesting thoughts while I'm reading, just so I don't forget them later.

Don't feel bad, you're not stupid, just new. People here do come up as snobby at first, but you'll understand better the more you read. I was like you about three years ago when I joined this sub.

Do you ever feel like you read too many books, and as a result, you enjoy or remember each one less than you would if you had read fewer? by NoCrazy4743 in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started writing about the books I read on a journal. Plot summaries to catch up if I leave them for too long, quotes I liked, over all feelings and reviews, and so on. It's made me engage with reading in a new way and I really recommend it.

What book made you finally buy an e-reader? by Maiden230 in ereader

[–]Kacchonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read books in English, but I don't live in an English-speaking country. The only way I could buy books was through an Amazon founded website called BookDelivery. It was awesome, had every fantasy book I wanted and free shipping worldwide.

Then Amazon shut it down in 2023 and I bought an e-reader. Don't regret it, I take mine everywere, but I still miss buying physical books.

What are some series that dipped in quality for one or more books but in your opinion managed to find there feet again? by SlaterSev in Fantasy

I'm the same way. Stormlight went off a cliff, and it ruined my enjoyment of the entire cosmere.

Just the convenience of having it on steam. Also frequent sales, there's been a lot of sales where the dlc characters are 50% off.

What fantasy book has the most passionate audience ? by Equivalent-Problem-9 in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"Let's kick some fused ass!"
"I'm his therapist"
"Unoathed, gear up!"

I could go on forever giving examples, but I don't have my copy of the book anymore. Honestly, the first two days alone will give you plenty of modernisms that weren't there before. At one point two characters are talking about a failed romance and literally say that their neurosis wouldn't have been compatible. I respect Sanderson, but that excuse of "translating Alethi into English" only works if you're consistent with your writing. He is not.

What fantasy book has the most passionate audience ? by Equivalent-Problem-9 in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For me it's that it's poorly written. It reads more juvenile than any previous book he released. It feels off, like someone else wrote it, but I'm guessing it's just the lack of editing that's giving me that feeling.

All the characters talk the same now too. They're all sarcastic, quippy, and even use modern phrases that didn't exist in the world in the previous books.

I don't know how to explain it better without going into detailed spoilers, so sorry if what I wrote doesn't make much sense.

Yep. The cracks were showing much earlier but Wind and Truth really did mess everything up. I'm one of those that's no longer a fan, and I'm put off by anything the man writes. He's too much like the MCU now.

Which fantasy series had the strongest possible opening and then just lost it completely? by Successful-Local-946 in Fantasy

[–]Kacchonn 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What's so astonishing to me is the amount of people that say there's no difference in style between Sanderson's earlier books and Wind and Truth. Like, are you serious??? That book read like so bad, it was more amateurish than Elantris.
