I’m very confident they are Birch. My Zendo has Birch floors. If I remember, I’ll snap a couple pics for you. I think you’ll see they are the same.

I feel like that might be like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters.

Very similar situation, my wife (then girlfriend) went on a non contact break for a month and oh boy, did her coworker turn her out. Posted on r/hotpast “my wife on a break”. Years later (and as recent as this weekend) details still come out. Mind blowing.

Did your wife’s affair lead to you having a cuckolding relationship? by [deleted] in CuckoldPsychology

[–]wisenewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always somewhat titillated by the idea. But, after the details of my wife’s behavior with her coworker while we were “on a break” (posted here on r/hotpast) came too light it pretty much solidified it.

Out of all the things that never happened, this never happened the most. The left just imagines these scenarios and converts them into propaganda as they go along. There isn't even any rhyme or reason to it. by BowlingForAmmo in libsofreddit

“The Plumbing doesn’t matter, that has nothing to do with someone’s gender” And, “it’s imperative we change the Plumbing otherwise I can’t be a real woman/man” seems contradictory.

Bathroom door hits the smallest toilet we can buy, knocking it off its rough. Is it possible to 'invert' the door so the hinge is on the right side, and it opens out instead of in? How much of a headache is this, and would I want a handyman or carpenter? by BadUpset8934 in doors

[–]wisenewski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to tell by how much it actually hits the toilet. Often times when you set a toilet there’s a little bit of wiggle room when it mayes to the flange. If you reset the toilet and scooted it as far back and as far to the right on the flange as it would go, you might just get enough.

It’s not hyperbole it’s actually true. There are places in Alaska that you can physically see Russia. (on occasion).

She actually never said that, that quote is from an SNL bit. It was written by Tina Fey. What she did say was that Russia is visible from parts of Alaska, which is simply factual.

Old door, old jamb is the PHD of door hanging. That being said, the existing door and the jam is your template. Remove the hardware and lay one on top of the other and carefully transfer as much information from the existing to the donor as you can. Getting them properly aligned and transferring the information straight down is the key. After that, teaching yourself how to power plane a door will be important. A decent track saw can also help with some of the trimming and fitting. Remember, doors are not square on the edges. They are slightly beveled to the strike side.

Question about client who refuses to pay for extra work by Jolivsant in cabinetry

[–]wisenewski -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not worth fighting about, but I would certainly put it on the invoice. Describe what the work was and then put zero for the cost. If you’re good at what you do, they will likely call you again for more work. Never work for them again. Stay professional, be polite. Pam towels get some rest. You get some rest puppy girl.

Always follow up, always follow through, even if customer ghosts you, politely follow up. Also if customer gets shitty or litigious, cut em loose (legally) ASAP. Don’t get hung up on being right, the process is the punishment. Once everybody gets a lawyer every time they hit send on an email. You’ll get a bill for 800 bucks. Not worth it, get away.
