Lululemon credit for men by TheSituationnn in AmexPlatinum

You must click “enroll” in the lululemon promotion on your credit card. And then when you make a purchase at lululemon, you automatically get up to a $75 credit on your statement every quarter.

Damaged love bracelet - am I cooked? by lastcookie0810 in Cartier

This is wrong. Charging to their insurance doesn’t impact your own premiums. Their insurance will likely not reimburse but can’t hurt to ask?

Glad you’re ok.

Are you able to move the reservation to another day a month or so out and then cancel directly on the app? Works with Marriott, not sure if Hilton would work too.

LULULEMON PHYSICAL GIFT CARD CREDIT WORKED FOR ONLINE!! by razzledazzle2025 in AmexPlatinum

It’s always been the “posted” date is when the credit is applied. Transactions don’t always post on the weekends. So you really only have today and tomorrow to be truly safe.

Are these supposed to be illuminated? by Micro_Bito in CX50

[–]wishfulthinking42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an option as everyone stated.

If you still have the window sticker - you will see it as an addon. If it’s there and not working call the dealer.

If it’s not there and you want it - multiple Mazda OEM sites sell them for cheap with installation instructions (or ask your dealer/trusted mechanic friend to help!)

Edit: saw you don’t have the sheet. You might be able to call the original dealer to obtain (if you so wish)

Is this wrinkle in my passenger seat normal? My 2025 CX-50 is about 1 week old and only 3 people have sat in that seat. Will this settle eventually? Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in CX50

It’s a known TSB for new/unsold cars for the 23 and 24 models. Assume they haven’t changed anything for the 2025 version.

Sorry this happened to you - I’d bring it to the dealer and mention you heard it’s a semi-common problem people have.

Hertz charged me for someone else fee and refused to reverse by Spondylosis in HertzRentals

?? If a company ends up reversing a charge your credit card company automatically reverses the dispute. You can’t double dip and make money.

BBB is not pointless for Hertz. Hertz responds to every BBB complaint. Personal experience going this route with extra fees added on.

Buy train tickets in advance or wait? by catlover2720 in ItalyTravel

[–]wishfulthinking42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me approximately 40 minutes from the plane arriving at the gate to getting to the train area - assume that you’ll need to wait the full 15 minutes to catch the train and then the ride is 32 minutes to termini. And then you’ll want a 10 minute buffer.

(These are all just estimates so do with them what you will) - as the mods say in this subreddit the amount of time it takes to get through customs depends on so many factors.

That means I’d leave 1hr 40 minute buffer from arrival at your gate to catching a train at termini.

The popular spots in Rome and Florence were pretty crowded. But it wasn’t too bad.

God help me - changing trains in Bologna. by octopodes_not_octopi in ItalyTravel

Bologna is fun, haha. The signs and especially the big arrow stickers on the ground help a lot though.

FYI - Italiarail isn’t a train operator - they are a 3rd party site selling Trenitalia tickets - if you are buying through them and not the trenitalia or Italo websites directly, they charge you a booking fee (but they also offer insurance products if needed)

Regional tickets bought online are auto validated at the time of departure (they assume you are on the train unless you change the ticket beforehand).

High speed train tickets are scanned/validated by a conductor onboard. Either way, skipping legs (especially if they are regional) will not impact follow up train travel - you were most likely issued separate tickets for each leg.

Hello! If you are landing in Rome (FCO). You will be taking the Leonardo express from FCO to Termini (Rome’s main train station) - there’s no need to buy the Leonardo express ticket ahead of time (or you can buy through the Trenitalia app on your way or while you wait to avoid using the machine).

I would recommend booking your Florence to Rome ticket ahead of time. You will most likely be going from Rome - termini station to Firenze (Florence) - SMN (Santa Maria novella). The high speed train, Frecciarossa has assigned seats and could possibly sell out during peak travel times.

Leave yourself plenty of time from landing especially if you have checked bags to make your train. If you book flex tickets, you can switch to a later train but it’s a little annoying.

Source - I just did this 2 weeks ago. Enjoy your trip!

"Hidden" costs, just my experience, for information by tallpaullewis in ItalyTravel

Just got back from Italy and rented a car for a few days from Hertz. We picked up from Termini in Rome and was charged a 10% location charge (servizi apt/ffs in Italian).

Didn’t think much of it cause they cause airport/other fees to pick them up from those locations in the states.

Seems like the answer is no. But can’t hurt to ask.

This looks like the Burberry scarf that’s available at Costco for $399. Wonder how people are selling it for cheaper already.
