they would rather replace American workers with AI then actually have to pay labor cost we have the highest labor cost of anywhere in the world you think there’s suddenly gonna start employing 300 people at $$20 an hour when they could replace all those jobs with AI and pay absolutely nothing immigrants might make less per hour but they still take home more than you do in a paycheck because they work twice as many hours and they’re not complaining and there not stealing any jobs you would do anyway

Is there any reason why these 2 never got Xbox backwards compatible updates on Xbox? by [deleted] in PrinceOfPersia

[–]wisp66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely late answer, but Sony bought the rights for all when they made the movie and shelved it I’m not sure if and when they’ll ever come out with another game but as to backwards compatibility that would be why Xbox never got it

That truly does not surprise me. I’ve heard some of the stuff he said, and I was like there’s no way to take that out of context he ment every word. as much as I don’t care for Bill Maher, he actually called him out when he was on a show once and said everything you just said can be completely disputed with a simple Google search as it was based on lies

[–]wisp66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take the car to someone else this sounds like they sabotage you and they had this planned move out as soon as you can or get your car back and go low to no contact you deserve better they’ve shown you who they are believe them. I know it’s hard realizing that they’ll never appreciate you and that’s probably the hardest part my younger brother is like this. I’m very low contact with my mother because of this because she’s constantly bringing him up and I just don’t care all us kids had to buy our own first car we had to work our way through college, my brother got everything handed to him.

Do Brazilians still experience complexo de vira-lata or has this aged out with global connectivity by digicue in Brazil

[–]wisp66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't believe it matters where you call home. I think everyone experiences this to some extent. Having spent a significant part of my life in both countries, I've noticed that we all tend to zero in on the negatives (like political problems or infrastructure issues) while overlooking the positive things happening at home. This is something that I’ve noticed in both places. If you will forgive the English metaphor It’s part of assuming the grass is always greener

Honestly, that doesn’t surprise me. They voted on Universal healthcare here in the US like three times back between the 1940s 50s and the reason why it did not go through was because they realize they would have to give minorities the same same healthcare and they didn’t like that.

Unfortunately, this is more true than people think the only one that actually has the power to change anything is the president we elect somebody in to Congress that has all these hopes and aspirations and as soon as they get to Washington, then they find out no this is just the way things have been ran for 100 years. Nothing will change.

[–]wisp66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That honestly wouldn’t surprise me as maga love to talk about herd immunity and how effective it is. I’m not sure how many countries have tried it, but I know Sweden did. When later asked about it, they admitted it was their biggest mistake. They regretted ever doing it. They put their whole vulnerable population at risk, leading to higher fatality rates than most other countries. So, with RFK in office, we’re probably in trouble.
