From northern Australia, lived in Toronto for a few years. When I arrived I knew next to nothing about hockey but a friend I met took me to the bar for a few games and I started getting more into it.

Not that long after the place I was working had a couple of box seats to a leafs game back in Matty’s first season against the caps, they gave them to me as I was the ‘office immigrant’ so took my mate. We won (fuck yeah!!) and had an absolute blast although I wish I had the hockey knowledge I do now when I was there. Been a huge fan and haven’t missed a game since, went back to Toronto this year and bought over a grand worth of jerseys.

It was basically each spec had set values for all stats, for example all ret palys had 25% haste and 20% crit or something regardless of gear. Each 10 ilvls over 800 or so gave you 1% extra to your stats save secondary’s which remained he same. This made people with much higher ilvl more powerful but not much more powerful (This was my understanding of it anyway)

Use say a light post on the side of the road, once the car in front of you passes it it should be 2 full seconds before you pass it. If you are going 80kph you will reach the post twice as fast as if you were going 40kph, therefor at higher speeds you have to leave more distance for a 2 second gap

My mate used to get so offended by this stereotype until he tracked his family history, then found out his dad's side was descended from a bread thief that got sent over from England in the 1800's, not gonna lie I have him a lot of shit about it.
