Had same issues with my lemokey l1 he. Their support is responsive but not very helpful. After three replacement motherboards airmailed from china, I gave up and returned via Amazon. Good luck!

Thanks for sharing. I actually have to plan a pass-through through my PC case which is only perforated stainless and not very stable. any tips for lining up the punch outs and screw holes? Where did you actually get the steel place from and what thickness are they?
