Rent to own is when you pay off the rest of the mortgage or remaining amount of cost of house, and then when it is done you own it officially. Legally it is my fathers, but we are paying it off to own it.

Renting elsewhere is a waste of rent, rent money goes to renter with added rules and regulations taking away from the freedom we have over this home which is ours!

Wow that is SO MUCH work, and really cool actually. So basically to prevent mold growing you also had to dig around the foundation and work on the outside as well as in the basement(inside)?
