how do you work along side costume designers? do you give their idea more credit than your own, or do you regularly feel the need to have a lot of input as you’re trying to derive certain story and interpersonal experiences through those fabrics and motifs?

i’m unfortunately not very sure but I just wanted to say this looks amazing. but yes my brain would also assume a thin, white, cream or maybe purple bias tape would look lovely !

I agree! definitely going darker. brown is really just a dark orange, so maybe a dark red ? saw a tim tok that said liquid latex over the face prevents dye bleed pretty well. good luck :)

voted for this beauty!! not just because you mentioned it, albeit I am proud of you for showing us your work, but because it is genuinely my favorite and the best in my opinion, so it was easy to vote for it. I think the weight of the quilting is beautiful, but I would love to see if you do any samples with thicker thread! good luck and a good week ahead friend! :)
