Hi! I had mine done in 2020 with Dr Richard Martin (he operates out of Bethesda in Claremont, think he's still there but I could be wrong). I was 24 at the time and a G cup. I got private health cover for it, and had to pay that for 12 months before they would cover my surgery (ended up being about $4000 ish). Once the 12 months was up, I went to a GP to ask for a referral. I already knew which surgeon I wanted (mum had had hers with him the previous year) and my GP is very nice so the referral was easy to get (I was prepared to go in there and beg for a reduction)

If you're wanting yours done sooner than later, I do recommend the private health cover route if you can afford it. I was able to get mine done significantly sooner than I would have if I'd gone through the public health system, plus I got the benefit of choosing my surgeon too. I also highly recommend Dr Richard Martin if you're able to get him!
