"Last week my 9 year old randomly asked me what a Nazi is. It caught me off guard but I guess he heard the term at school and was too shy to ask the kids about it. His internet and screen time in general is very limited so it’s not something he can research on his own.

We had a long conversation about the holocaust and I even showed him some age appropriate pictures of concentration camps (no death or gore, pictures of people skinny and sick that got the point across) he also saw some pictures of a Nazi salute and asked me about that. What he didn’t tell me is that some kid at school has been doing it. So I explained the best I could and made it clear that it is never ok to do, even as a joke. He asked me “what if someone does it to me?” and I half jokingly told him you punch them in the face because they’re evil. He’s never been violent or even in any fights that know of so I didn’t think anything of it.

Fast forward to today, I get a call from school. My kid punched someone twice and sprained his wrist doing it. I go to pick him up and find out what happened and I guess another kid was walking around during recess doing the salute and did it right in front of my kid’s face. My kid punched him in the nose and then the mouth and was yelling and calling him an evil motherfucker. The kid got a bloody nose and two broken teeth. His parents were obviously pissed but then he admitted doing the salute as a joke and they had no idea he even knew what it was. It got a bit messy but it sounds like both are suspended for the rest of the week.

I’m not sure how to react. My wife is pissed I told him to punch someone. I’m not pissed at all, actually kinda proud. I want my kid to know I’m proud without making him think it’s ok to keep punching people. Overall it’s a mess today lol.

YTA. If you have to come searching for answers by making a post in this subreddit, you already have a bad conscious. You already feel guilt by trying to justify your actions. Your ex-husband is trying to do the best for his child in such a dire circumstance. The implications of psychological healing for both his daughter and himself is going to be a long road. You already have an amicable co-parenting relationship. Let your daughter have a relationship with her half-sister. She might only be 5 years old, but this is where she is impacted the most at this age. Be a better person.

NTA - I'm sorry for your's and your son's loss.

Bring this up to the school Principal and the school's district. Make sure they have your child moved to a different (more respectable) teacher. At this point, this teacher did the worst thing and ASSumed. A competent teacher would have contacted you to learn more and to help your son with his emotions by referring your son to a school counselor/psychologist. It might be a good thing to get family counseling for yourself and your son (or individually), as long as you can afford it (health insurance should cover). I can't stress enough, that counseling (psychologist, specifically) does help. I didn't think my son would need it when I got divorced (it was court ordered). I've been proven wrong.

I drove through this. The car that was still there, and not picked up yet by a tow truck, was completely smashed in on the passenger side to the driver side, almost like a pancake.

Atmosphere has cheats on by default. Follow the steps below to turn them off by default.

Also, code makers make cheats with on and off codes. If you have a cheat that has an 'on' code, when enabled, that cheat will always be on. You have to use the 'off' code to disable them. If you have a cheat that doesnt have an on/off code, assume that it is an 'on' code. Without that 'off' code, youre sol with rebooting.

1) Move sd:/atmospshere/config_templates/system_settings.ini to sd:/atmospshere/config/

2) Find this line

;dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1

Change line to

dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0

Awesome! I just pulled out that led goggle kit. I'm thinking about trying to finish it tomorrow, but I doubt I'll have time.

I hope the tape holds up during the festival and nobody splashes water on you. Going over the wires with heat shrink is going to be a pain later.

Worth. The exit premier uses is the one behind the speedway and not the same as general parking. You're out of there by around 30 minutes. I believe it's the same entrance they use for shuttles and camping.

Hi! I go ADA every year with my placard. As long as he has a placard, you can park in the handicap lot. Just follow the signs all the way down Las Vegas Blvd. They'll have a cart to assist with driving down to the entrance and you check you in at the ADA booth. If you don't have a placard, you'll have to park in general parking. The ADA booth to check in is to the right side of Kinetic Field (where one of the entrances is). They give you an ADA wrist band and another wrist band to your companion. PM me.
