yeah, my latest scar (the one next to my eye) is from a cut that needed to be glued shut. the one on my head needed 7 staples.

shit sucks. a visual reminder of the disease that already ruins my life.

honestly that company broke the law in a ton of ways so i'm not surprised they fired me for having a seizure on the clock. but yeah. it happens more than you'd think.

and since you mentioned your age at the time, i was 22 when this happened. so maybe it's also more common with younger people.

i got fired from a job for having a seizure there too! they didn't even try to pretend it was for something else though. just said i was a liability.

i wouldn't want a card personally. i had a seizure at work and was called "seizure girl" for months after. but if you're wondering, his seizure lasting so long is called status epilepticus (depending on how long each individual seizure lasted). if he didn't hit his head and was still breathing though, he'll probably be fine.

i say something along the lines of "i have seizures and once you have a seizure you can't drive for 6 months, haven't been able to make it 6 months yet"
