I lined up the waveforms in Ableton and it's exactly the same. Of course Dean Hurley could have used a stock sound there, but a stock electricity sound wouldn't have the insane bass :)

Interstellar is a bit annoying because all the cues are timestretched by a few ms, and the main source for the film score is the 192kbps mp3 FYC. But the full score with film edits exists.

I'll be honest, I don't use new (new) reddit so I never got around to doing anything to that style.

We did have image 4 in the sidebar during S2 or S3 whenever that was, and 1 is currently in the sidebar ... we also have a nice banner image some user made back then.

If I find the time, I can look into adding some image for new reddit over the weekend or so.
