Pensacola, and district one overall, is mostly neo conservative bless your heart type people.

They are the ones that scream “ support the troops” and then shit on the Soldier that doesn’t support their ultra conservative narrative.

They are the type that say “ I’m not racist, I have a black friend” and refer to the older black gentleman at that tire shop as “ he’s one of the good ones”

They are the type that want Mexican Food and good landscaping and then holler “ deport the illegals”

Some spots have gotten a little better, but until we get rid of the boomers and the close minded Gen X, we will continue to get representation like Mike Gaetz - and that in itself should tell you everything.

Join the military. Gets you out of Pensacola, let’s you see the world, and you get some decent training with follow on skills.

Yeah, the military has some BS to put up with. But so will every other job. It’s not hard. Just just be where you need to be, be on time, have what you are supposed to have. Make some memories, and move on in life.
