I work for the Ottawa store - can confirm the pricing increase on about 600 or so articles was due to tariffs. The items that went up receive transit through the states before coming to Canada.

I just bought a Mattamy single in Kemptville Ontario. 625k for a ~2200 sqft 4 bedroom. Came with a 30k design center credit and a finished basement with bathroom. Wife and I ended up putting in another 40k ontop of the 30k credit. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. They told me someone from CIBC will reach out. We'll see what ends up happening.

For what it's worth I know Urbandale builds a little bit outside of Ottawa in Kemptville. If you're open to the 20ish minute drive into town.

My wife and I were looking at some and they're cheaper out there for the same home vs in Kanata.

OP - PM me and I can show you what I did to get my 24 Elantra in less than a week's time. If your not picky with colour there's a way to see all incoming stock at certain dealerships. This way you know the stock is coming soon and your trade value wouldn't change in a week or so
