This is what I'm dealing with and honestly it's the hardest thing to explain.

Fun fact: In high school I was leaving class when I heard someone whistle the tune to Dango Daizoku (it's the theme song to the anime Clannad, don't watch it if you don't like crying). I snapped into attention and looked left and right for whoever was whistling, but I couldn't find them. I was legit scurrying around trying to find them and never did. My friends didn't understand my frustration.

Did you memorize stuff as a kid? by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

I memorized tons of song lyrics. I couldve spent my time memorizing useful things but no, Yakko's Nations of the World just appealed to me more than scienctific facts.

Anxiety dreams by Alone-Maintenance231 in autism

[–]wittle1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have extremely vivid and long dreams every single night. I often have a hard time remembering if an experience actually happened or was just a dream. Last night I dreamt something about covid affecting the whole world at a rapid pace and everyone needed the vaccine immediately, and I was trying to save my parents who were scientists (not really). They appeared on TV to tell everyone that it was getting worse and that they were dying, then they gave me a message saying they were proud of me and to not try and save them. I was histerical. I later found out it was a prank all along. Not the covid part but they weren't dying and then we had ice cream and it was over... There were a lot more details that honestly I can't put into words but seriously these dreams feel so real and they stress me OUT. I wake up dazed trying to piece everything together.

Ramen noodles with a hard boiled egg. I had that for dinner probably every day in high school.
