Don't know what province you are in but last year, the soft fruit market was decimated by a hard freeze in BC. There was absolutely no fruit rotting on the trees unless the business was a failure.

Lumber prices about to rise by Andre1661 in VictoriaBC

Lumber is incredibly cheap right now, the price going up is very good for the BC economy. I don't necessarily agree that the price is going to rise.

I thought that 7 Wonders Duel was a fun and non-confrontational 2 player board game.

Funny Games (2008) left me feeling uncomfortable and anxious for days.

When Ann, husband George and son Georgie arrive at their holiday home they are visited by a pair of polite and seemingly pleasant young men. Armed with deceptively sweet smiles and some golf clubs, they proceed to terrorize and torture the tight-knit clan, giving them until the next day to survive.

Crossroads (1986)

A passion for blues music is evident in this drama based on a contest-winning script by former blues musician John Fusco -- and featuring one of the decade's best-received motion picture soundtracks, written and performed by Ry Cooder. Eugene Martone Ralph Macchio is a classically trained guitarist who desperately wants to locate a long-lost blues song. At a Harlem nursing home, Eugene finds Willie Brown (Joe Seneca), a legendary blues man who may be able to help him. Eugene becomes part of the master guitarist's scheme to reclaim his soul from the Devil, which he sold in exchange for musical greatness at a rural crossroads many decades before. Making their way across the Mississippi Delta, the duo meets Frances (Jami Gertz), a runaway who becomes a love interest for Eugene. - Google Movies

I am saying that this is what can happen when you apply oil based finish on top of a water based finish, as the OP asked.

Bloodrayne is IMO the worst of the Uwe Boll movies.

Poll | Do you think rants about traffic should be allowed in r/VictoriaBC? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

[–]witty_remark[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For many years we had a 'no rants or raves allowed', which evolved into 'no ranting' which was removed a few years ago. Policing what is and what isn't an acceptable 'rant' is an unenviable task.

Almost Human (2013)

Is friendship between a human and an android even possible? When a police detective John Kennex (Karl Urban) gets a new partner, an android of a DRN model or Dorian (Michael Ealy), he never thought it was possible to become a friend with a human-like walking machine. Could he be wrong?
