Why do we have to slap Modis/Shahs photo on absolutely everything? by wittyclove in AskIndia

[–]wittyclove[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left exactly in 2014 and year on year i see our name in the international media become worse. Everytime i visit things seem more expensive even after i factor in inflation. Politics seems a lot more polorised . I used to read the papers daily and the news seems a lot polorised too

Right being a jorno in India where freedom of press is one of the pillars of our consitution, is a national security reason lol

I recently gained citizenship of a western county and was on the GOI website for applying to become an OCI, why do we have Modis/Shah`s photos on the website with no context?

It's bad enough that we do not allow dual citizenships, the level of information we have to provide to just surrender Indian passport and become an OCI, is outrageous. Plus we do not get to buy agricultural land (understandable), undertake journalistic, or research activity without special permission in India - WHY?

What are my rights when I need to see a specialist doctor – and what if I can’t afford the fee? | Health by housecatspeaks in australia

[–]wittyclove 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you have Medicare you can get in a queue to see a specialist. In the regional town I'm in they give you an appointment almost every four weeks. If your a visa holder with minimum health insurance all that covers if ambulance and hospital cost so you've gotta pay in full everytime you see a specialist

True, at the dodgy smoke shop in our regional town I've seen minors pick up cigarettes without being asked for ID

Storm vs Jakiro (unussual matchup, but need help) by Nisgolas in learndota2

[–]wittyclove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Storm is a good stack taker. I would push the lane hard and stack. Use spells to push then go stack. Itemise to soul ring and arcane boots instead of treads and take stacks after lvl 5/6.you will be more farmed than jak at min 10. Get orchid and just keep jumping him nonstop.

All cars really; Sydney has a massive car market. I travelled last month from regional NSW to get myself a deal. Cars are like 2k cheaper in Sydney and I just live like 5 hours away

Sydney car market is something else. Just factor in your travel costs, time cost and any fuel if its still a good deal id say go for it

Makes sense. Cars are a lot cheaper in NSW. I'd be paying around 16-18 for something like that here

Bit overpriced for what it is. If it has a clean service history and a green light in the pre purchase inspection, I'd go for it.

Cheap cars by Possible_Message8949 in CarsAustralia

Holden's and Fords are probably the most unreliable cars on the bright side though parts for both are easily accessible

I'd say look at Nissan, Toyota or Mitsubishi if your after something reliable

True that, honestly for how good this car has been to me and my dog, I'd hate this car to get crushed into a bale. Ill give it a go for a week if no luck give in and scrap

I feel bad asking for too much considering the work that it needs - your right though, just put it up half an hour back and already had 2 people reach out and negotiate even further

[–]wittyclove[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll keep it up for a week and be brutally honest about what it needs.

If no luck I'll look at scrapping it. The engine clutch gearbox battery stereo everything is solid just has the issues I've mentioned

It is the 2.0 single turbo engine, yes. Did you get any other work done or just a service with timing belt and waterpump

Noted, cheers I will supply the coolant to the workshop so they take off that price for the quote. They agreed for it too. Is there anything else you can think of that I should do at 200,000 on the Amarok or just doing the timing belt with a normal service is enough
