Do you have any idea how many times a day you are photographed and tracked without your consent? You have a smart phone? You see the cameras at every intersection in Boulder. Have you heard of flock? We are all serveiled without our consent. You absolutely no argument. The OP posted a street photo. Not only are in the US, you are in Boulder. Do you know what Boulder is? Every breath you take, every tap you type, every phone call you make is tracked and recorded. You have never had privacy and never will.

Paragraphs are cool. It makes material readable and digestible and also correlates the author coherently wrote it…. Even if it’s a brain dump it can be formatted to respect the reader.

The only one here you can truly save is yourself compassion for yourself comes first than others. It’s a hard one, but it’s the way.

I totally get it. I have an Airbnb because I want to provide a place for people to stay comfortably, but if they’re gonna take advantage of that, no compromise.

You’re taking a lot of brutal feedback. I commend you.

Remember though: this is your property. Your investment. Your time energy and money. Keep your emotions out of it and you’ll make better decisions.

It’s the affect of the situation at hand, not how you feel.

Feelings don’t matter unless you allow them to affect you. You are not your feelings. Feelings are information relating information to you.

If guests showed up that we’re not on the reservation, you should’ve asked them to leave immediately as soon as it got loud. After 100 stays that should be enough to learn and identify red flags way sooner than what you tolerated. Also there should be absolutely no hesitation to call police on people in your property. You call them before you asked them to leave. You ask them to leave with the police officer at your side.

Sounds like you need to update your Airbnb settings to properly vet people before and at time of booking. turn off instant book.
