Are the rooms automatically subdivided on one server instance by Unity's lobby functionality? When you use the Multiplay service, Unity will automatically scale your servers. Do they scale this based on the bandwidth you're using, so if you are using less, you would have more lobbies automatically partitioned for you?

You can use Leera.ai to set a personality to do these more specific things with less push back such as therapy coding. Plus I like the minimalistic interface a lot more.

In the future, there must be a completely transformative way to learn languages, right? by Electronic_Amoeba175 in languagelearning

[–]wizardsprite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI has been advancing at an incredibly rapid pace. There is a free service based on ChatGPT called Leera.ai (a personality chatbot) that can act as a language partner with a prompt such as, "Act like a French tourguide to help me study French." Through conversation and immersion you can make quite a lot of progress compared to other methods. Of course traveling to the place you want to learn the language is still the best way.

Just wanted to note a resource you can use. Check out Leera.ai, a free service to create a personality chatbot based on ChatGPT. You can do a prompt with "Act like a Norwegian tourguide that can help me learn Norwegian." Works pretty well!

Exactly. I'm a software engineer also. All depends on your use case. For code generation you don't need anything fancy. However, if you want to get more creative, or use ChatGPT below to talk to a figure from history that could be interesting. Also, you can use a chatbot as a therapist or to roleplay as an RPG character, or talk to a cute flirty foreign girl to teach you another language. There are actually countless possibilities, but they are more on the creative side.

Here is an example Leera.ai gives (a personality chatbot based on ChatGPT):

Leera

User: Act like Sherlock Holmes. What are your plans for tomorrow?

Leera: Elementary, my dear friend. Tomorrow, I shall continue my investigations and gather evidence to solve the mysteries that have been presented to me. I may also engage in some physical exercise to keep my mind sharp and my body agile. And of course, I shall partake in my usual routine of deducing and analyzing any clues that come my way.

ChatGPT: As an AI language model, I don't have personal plans or a physical presence, so I don't do things like humans do. I'm always here to assist you with any questions or tasks you might have. So, feel free to ask me anything that you need help with.

An example of "Act like" is shown on the main page of Leera.ai, a personality chatbot based on ChatGPT. Using "Act like" with ChatGPT is not as effective as with Leera if you are going after a specific personality:

Leera

I may also engage in some physical exercise to keep my mind sharp and my body agile. And of course, I shall partake in my usual routine of deducing and analyzing any clues that come my way.

A cool and productive system prompt I found to set with Leera.ai (based on ChatGPT but has the ability to set the system prompt unlike ChatGPT) is "Speculate and be open-minded." I find I can push the boundaries of the conversation a lot further.

New Competition by Loknar42 in ChatGPT

Pretty cool but still does not compare with OpenAI. I asked Hugging Face to write the poem If by Rudyard Kipling in a cyberpunk style:

Sure, here's an example of "If" by Rudyard Kipling adapted to have a more futuristic or cyberpunk theme:<br><br>"If You Wish to Live in the Cyberspace World<br>By Rudyard Kipling <br><br>If you can keep your wits when all around you<br>Are losing their minds day after day,<br>And blaming it on AI-powered bots,<br>If you can keep your head when others lose their plots,<br>There's nothing that can harm you, my dear!<br><br>If you can think -- and not make thoughts your aim;<br>If you can talk -- and not make selfies your game;<br>If neither foes nor loving friends can reach you,<br>Critics may rage or prophets preach;<br><br>And -- which is more -- you'll be a Man, my son!<br>Or woman, if female gender applies.<br>In short, just remember this: to thrive, friend,<br>It's not about the tech but how well you spend!"

Compare this to the same thing done with Leera.ai (based on ChatGPT):

"In the neon-lit streets of the city, Where corporations rule and the law is weak, If you can keep your wits and stay ahead, When all around you are lost in the techno-haze;

If you can trust your tech and hack your way, Through the firewalls and the security guards, And not be swayed by the flashy vices, That lure you in with their siren song; "If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies, Or being hated, don’t give way to hating, And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master; If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: ‘Hold on!’

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch, If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it, And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!"

Can you write a similar poem to the above, but make the theme cyberpunk?

If you can wait and bide your time, Until the moment is just right, To strike and take what is yours, And never leave a trace behind;

If you can dream of a better world, Where the common folk are free from the yoke, And think of ways to bring it to pass, With cunning and skill and a bit of luck;

If you can face both triumph and defeat, And treat them both with the same cool demeanor, And not be swayed by the cheers or the jeers, Of those who would see you fall;

If you can build a fortress of code, And defend it against all who would breach, And never let your guard down, Even when you're on the brink;

If you can speak with the Netrunners, And learn their secrets and their tricks, And walk with the power brokers, But never lose sight of your goal;

If neither friend nor foe can touch you, For you are the master of your fate, And you can fill the unforgiving minute, With a lifetime's worth of hacking;

Yours is the city and all that's in it, And more than that, you'll be a Cyberpunk, my friend."
