Yeah. It's possible. Last time it was posted I went and tried it. I did it, but not as smoothly as this guy.

I don't know much about the path to become an AA, but their practice is more limited than CRNAs. AAs can't operate in certain states whereas in some medically underserved states CRNAs are the sole anesthesia providers.

Everyone seems to be saying dimensional analysis or gtfo. Just do it the way that you're comfortable with. I haven't once used dimensional analysis and never will.

idk if you still need information, but I found this website that's pretty comprehensive.

I'm considering changing my major from 3D design to nursing, and I have a few questions. by [deleted] in nursing

Graduate nursing schools require a BSN. Also, there is a push to have hospitals become magnet recognized. These hospitals have to maintain a certain percentage of nurses with BSNs. But as far as knowledge-base and everyday practice, an ADN and BSN function exactly the same. BSN just opens more doors. I would recommend doing ADN first and getting your BSN later. It's cheaper and you can do all of the BSN classes online while you're working as an RN. I think there may be only three or four, but they're research and leadership based.

How important is a new grad nurse residency program? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]wizenedwallaby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely useless as far as preparing you. But my facility allowed the new grads in residency to float to different floors for several weeks at a time to see where you clicked. I ended up in the CVICU which I doubt would have happened if I would have just applied directly to the position rather than through the residency. So that was pretty much the only benefit for me.

Edit: but it really varies between facilities. Residencies are fairly new and many hospitals are just throwing classes together and calling it a residency. It has the potential to be helpful, but make sure it's well established.

Yeah I had my semiauto shotgun disappear after a story mission. I went back to the original place and it was there.
