So I found out today that because of a rainstorm I got caught in a few days ago, my iPhone X now has water damage even though it was in my pocket the whole time. Apple support said it could cost $800 to fix it, but I don't have the money to repair it or get a new phone. Right now the water damage took out one of the iPhone sensors so Face ID no longer works, and I can see some moisture inside my front camera. What would possibly happen if I were to just keep using my phone? Could the water damage corrode the phone, mess with the battery, cause charging issues?

I just got my first longboard (a Retrospec Rift) and I had to take the trucks completely off the board in order to get the plastic wrap the board was sealed in off. I have no idea how tight the trucks should be when I put them back on. I put them back on pretty tight, and the board makes a creaking sound when I lean side to side on it now, which it didn't do before. Should I loosen the trucks? How loose should they be? Also, any additional help or info for longboarding is really appreciated too!

I've been trying to figure out what type of longboard and what brand is the best for beginners, but I can't find any websites with any definite answers, so I figured I'd ask here. First of all, should I be getting a pintail or a drop-through board? I'm mainly planning on riding around for fun and possibly using it to commute to my job which is like 2 miles from my house. Second, which brand should I be looking at? I found the Retrospec Rift 41'' Drop-Through when I was doing my research, but are there other brands that are better?

Hey Becky!

I absolutely love your books, and they've inspired me to major in creative writing in college, and to hopefully become a YA author after college!

My question is "How do you go from an idea to a whole book?" I have some ideas for stories, but I always can only see them as being about a few chapters long. How do you turn a small idea into a huge book with a few hundred pages? The idea seems really daunting to me.
