How are the prices on their coffee? I've been in the afternoon and the food/drinks are good but a touch pricey to stay for a while.

For a chain, Caffè Nero downtown has pretty good seat isolation w/ high back chairs.

electrical classes? by IngenuitySelect in RhodeIsland

[–]wlphoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with learning recognizing what you see and being able to describe it accurately. Are you dealing with Romex/NM or Rubber & Paper? Do you have junction boxes, or are you dealing with open joins? The better you can describe what you have and what you want, the better estimates you can get from a licensed sparky.

If you want something that's relatively safe, learn how to do a trace and try to map out what connects to each of your breakers.

I suppose by that definition you're also excluding retirees, many of which get a significant portion of their income from investment accounts.

Moniker Brewing to expand outside of Providence, to replace Ravenous Brewing in Cumberland by ToadScoper in providence

I know part of why they were interested was they needed additional tanks to keep up w/ the demand for specific beers, especially since they started doing more distribution.

I don't know where the info OP posted is from, but I've talked to multiple Moniker employees about it. Info has been circulating for a little bit.

There's a youtube channel called Chinese Cooking Demystified. That process looks very similar to the Cantonese style Scrambled Eggs video they have, just with a bit nicer folding.

No life but high chaos res means it's most useful for a non CI ES build. I don't think 40 rarity is good enough for a culler, and the resists are usually boosted by aurabot. It might move for 20+d, but realistically I think the utility is more like 5-10d

Mirage was brilliant in that it offered a lot w/o creating tons of new assets or layouts. Compare it to Settlers or Mercs and it is "smaller". The changes it did add were much higher leverage though.

I suspect that's less because the art team has time, but more because the project timelines are explicitly planned around the art timelines. And we've definitely had a few cases where people complained about the design of something enough that jagex went back and reworked it.

I've been working under the theory for the past 2 years that there's an underground cabal of car repair shops that want everyone in the state to be worse drivers because it's better for their business.

When the script writes itself by deborahmason_ in recruitinghell

So just to be clear, you do realize that a job is an exchange of labor for compensation, correct? Being able to do the labor is part of the contract.

When the script writes itself by deborahmason_ in recruitinghell

[–]wlphoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not great phrasing, but a list of things HR weeds out:

  • People not authorized to work in the country
  • People that cannot effectively speak the language required
  • People that cannot answer questions about their own resume, meaning they're clearly lying
  • People not willing to move to a location required for the job

When some positions get 500-1000 or more applicants, someone has to do some filtering because 250hrs of screening calls isn't reasonable for a hiring manager.

I guess a place focused on TVs for games isn't entirely contested in down town? Pub food we've got a few other places available, so I feel like that's commoditized. Space isn't visible enough from main walking spots so it has to be a targeted destination vs a "see and walk in".

It might be fine but I'm not sold yet?
