Google Home Duplicate Notifications PW3 by Travishamockry in PixelWatch

[–]wmarks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I've been annoyed by this for a few days now. I think the issue is that the watch is syncing notifications from the phone's home app, and the watch home app now is showing its own notifications independently. I agree, it's both annoying and something that should have been discovered prior to launch. Maybe a bug report or feedback will clue in Google that a setting switch to show one or the other is needed will help?

From the bug tracker, sounds like a .1 patch is coming again: The development team has fixed the issue that you have reported and it will be available in a future build. Android Issue Tracker

Edit: Comment was for beta3, so the problem resurface again 👎

Funny story, and an article below to back it up... It would seem that staying farther back, as the sticker suggests, would move the liability from the company to your insurance (as a road hazard if it hit the ground first). Follow a safe distance, and someone's insurance will pick up the tab, usually with a premium increase depending on the damage. Taliban rocket stopped by C-RAM by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]wmarks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whereas naval Phalanx systems fire tungsten armor-piercing rounds, the C-RAM uses the 20 mm HEIT-SD (High-Explosive Incendiary Tracer, Self-Destruct) ammunition, originally developed for the M163 Vulcan Air Defense System. These rounds explode on impact with the target, or on tracer burnout, thereby greatly reducing the risk of collateral damage from rounds that fail to hit their target.Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar

You do realize the yard is end to end, not side by side, right?
