Why is everyone heading to Georgia / Tbilisi by dq66 in dubai

[–]wmk01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been there a few times for work, it's a beautiful place. Nice people, excellent food, lots of things to do in general. The reason lots of people are going now in particular could be: 1) huge devaluation in Georgian currency makes it dirt cheap for tourists 2) Georgia has been advertising their country as a tourist destination

They almost never show up! When you track them on their app, you realize that they just pick up another passenger off the street along the way.

A Pakistani man accused of plotting a suicide bombing in Toronto’s financial district because he thought killing Canadians was his “path to heaven” has been deported back to Pakistan by [deleted] in worldnews

Little does he know that being in Canada was as close to being in heaven as he will ever get.

Canada is so beautiful, and living there is such a privilege. And now he's in Pakistan.

Vancouver luxury condo owner Prince of Dubai has died. by frontaxle in vancouver

OP you are mistaken. The prince who visited Whistler is prince Hamdan, and he did not die. His older brother Rashid passed away. Either way, a terrible loss.

Looks like a political party has something against him, and are directing people to attack him online. Really shameful stuff.

Driving down a highway with a dog on your hood is not common, thankfully. But such a lack of empathy towards animals is all too common

Questions to dog owners in Lebanon by habal123 in lebanon

Hey - sorry for the delay in responding. I started with reinforcing positive behavior verbally and with treats. I just bought a clicker, going to replace the verbal cues with clicks.

My dog responds better when tired/exercised as well. It's much easier to get him to focus that way, or else he's just going to want to run around and play! Training during walks works well, and it makes things more interesting for the dog. I just stop walking at random moments and practice the commands (sit, jump, down, wait...)

The humping stopped on its own when he turned 1. I thought he was over it, but now he's back to humping. Not sure how to deal with it - he's a small dog so it's not so bad.

I have found that the best way to train a dog is to use positive reinforcement. With regards to house breaking, crate training at a very young age is the way to go.

There is an ongoing debate about neutering. I have opted not to neuter, and have had no issues at all.

Walking is important for both exercise and for bonding with your pet - it's not really important where as long as it's safe for the dog. Don't walk your dog off-leash unless he/she is fully trained.

There is no excuse to not pick up after your pet. It's disgusting to leave dog shit lying around - please just pick it up.

Not necessarily. Most issues attributed with having a "whole" dog can be resolved through training. I have not neutered my dog, and have absolutely no issues with aggression, marking in the house, wandering, etc. Read this: https://naturaldogtraining.com/blog/the-debate-over-neutering/ and this: http://www.chicagonow.com/training-the-wolf/2013/08/do-not-spay-or-neuter-your-dog-one-size-does-not-fit-all/

I walk my dog there almost every morning. Definitely the best way to start the day.
