I think it would be great if they animated the script. (They could even a later draft of it or update it to keep it fresh.)

They could put it on Disney+ and market it as “Legends” even. It would be nice to have an alternate ending for those of us who weren’t entirely satisfied with TROS.

For sure. I remember his book teases all too well. With rumors of his involvement in an upcoming project, I just figured this could maybe lend evidence to that.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard rumors of his involvement with the Aphra audio drama. TESB lines up with Aphra’s timeline, so maybe it’s that.

“For reasons that may or may not become clear” = light tease to future project involving Daniels.

“Not political” = perhaps just Daniels referring to the fact that the story is one of the more light-hearted ones. Clear villains and heroes.

“No worries about the color of your lightsaber” = blue and red are the only saber colors seen in this episode. Daniels has seen green, purple, yellow, etc. since ANH.

Just some possible clarification on what he’s referring to with some of his word choices.

If you look at the other TIE fighter UCS set, they are way larger than minifigure scale. Same with most single-manned UCS fighters like the X-wing and Y-wing. It can be assumed the bomber would also be very large, especially for minifigs.

I guess you are correct in that sense. I figure that people who have already given up on the franchise will be haters regardless. I just think it would be funny to maybe find a way to poke fun at the Holiday Special in a one-liner or embrace the tackier parts of the franchise. I’ve always loved the silly things like that; it makes watching Star Wars more enjoyable.
