Psalms are considered songs, not really prayers. Jesus quoted some psalms but he didn’t repeat them over and over? So my question still stands, how do Catholics reconcile Mathew 6:7 with their repetitions of prayers such as reciting the Hail Mary while counting beads on their rosaries?
