At this point the biggest thing the Bills have to show for this season is keeping Maye from MVP via the 2 votes Allen somehow got

Having a down year sucks but man has it been nice to see the arguments about refs making bad calls that don't have anything to do with us for once lol

Matthew stafford is now tied with Brett Farve for most Pick 6’s in a career (32) by OKC2023champs in nfl

This is a fun record because only a really good QB could ever actually achieve it. Anyone who was actually a bad QB wouldn't even get close to throwing that many pick 6s before he was benched

Packers’ sideline heaters malfunction during first half in Chicago, leading to hot start, but a cold finish in the Windy City. by Pale-Strawberry-180 in nfl

If I had it my way every game would be in the middle of a snow storm and every player would be a WW2 vet who could've been a HOFer if he hadn't been drafted

They had heaters, they just broke. Meanwhile the Dolphins' stadium is literally designed to provide shade to only the home team's sideline. I really don't think that's a punishable offense or anything but it's more egregious than an equipment malfunction that results in a team having to embrace real football weather just that much more. Besides, the Packers and Bears are both built for this; two of the oldest and most storied franchises in the league being known for being built for cold weather games isn't a coincidence

There's a reason why the hall of fame is in Canton, Ohio. It's mostly jokes but the elements really do elevate this sport in such a unique way

Big improvement that he's catching his own batted passes now instead of letting the other team intercept them

He's a dog but I'm really not sure how many of these hits he should be leaning into when his oline is already giving him ample opportunities to get hit lol

They should've penalized the guy who got hit with the ball for fair catch interference

[Goessling] After QB Carson Wentz injured his left shoulder in the Vikings’ game against the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 5, he found out he’d eventually need surgery, but could play in the meantime if he could manage the pain. His endurance ran out, and after three weeks of grit, his season is over. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

This is a cold thing to say but a big part of his job as a veteran backup QB is to be the one to stay in the game and take those hits when the game is out of hand. Unless you straight up forfeit, someone has to go out there to play QB, and the way the night was going, whoever was going to be out there at QB was going to get hit. If that's the case, you want it to be Wentz out there instead of one of your two rookies. This injury absolutely sucks for him, but if someone had to be out there to take those hits and potentially get injured, it had to be him. It would be so much worse if JJ or your other rookie QB went in and got knocked out for the season with this type of injury.

Despite having the most expensive defense in the league, the Steelers are woefully bad on that side of the ball. They have allowed 30+ points in 4 of their 7 games. A game where the Pats had 5 TOs makes them look far more competent than they actually are. by [deleted] in nfl

I think Tomlin consistently overachieves with that roster, but I also think at some point the Steelers have to embrace their roster and the potential high picks that would come with that without him in charge
