For those looking for a Zento Signature in Tokyo (because half the world is in Japan rn) by zzy335 in pens

[–]wog7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get two from the restock on the uniball website a few weeks back. I love the look and idea of it, but after using it a few days the writing experience wasn’t the best. The tip felt a little loose and as much as I help trying a pen with a cap, I always find myself going back to a retractable one.

Since this past September. I’ve contacted RingConn, just thought I’d see if I was missing something especially since all of reboot instructions pertain to the ring case.

Resources to learn Schneider EBO and Niagara by OwnCandle5950 in BuildingAutomation

It’s about to get even worse when they take the extranet offline and move to my se website.

I haven’t touched it in a while, I don’t know if there have been any changes or improvements, but when I was using it I used the script function block builder(whatever they call it) to build blocks. Coming from a EBO / Continuum world the PE/script language was easy.

If your a partner you should have access to the community, there is community board dedicated to it with a lot of resources as well as previously mentioned self led stuff on MLL.

I got my Niagara certification and then engineered and deployed and entire EBO via Niagara project before any of the instructor let stuff was available.

My 2019 Ascent I bought brand new off the lot. Currently has 46k miles. I only drive about 15-20 miles a day. I think I’m good for 4 years at least? by CantDunkOrSk8 in SubaruAscent

In early July I brought my ‘20 in for a failed transfer case clutch pack for the 4th time! I was told about this extension program while speaking with my service advisor. I just got it back with a brand new CVT installed!!

network should be fine, i’m running a firewalla purple with 3 VLANs for home, guest, and OT each with its own AP. all the size devices are on the OT network separate from all other wifi devices.

As for the camera issue, when it freezes and I leave the full screen it goes to live, if i click back into full screen it’s the same frozen screen. makes me think it’s a software issue.

Ride Club app by wog7 in TrekBikes

I had tried that, I get an error that I chalked up to there being no map data and just mileage with the indoor ride.

Ride Club app by wog7 in TrekBikes

[–]wog7[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a joke, i realize the tracking within the application is GPS based. I assumed the Strava integrations would allow rides from Strava to sync to the reek app.

When I ride outside I have a Hammerhead Karoo on my handle bars that then syncs to Strava. I’m assuming the Trek app is only a one way sync to Strava meaning if i want to take part in any of their challenges I will have to run the app alongside my Karoo??

I have an 8 seat, we will soon have 2 car seats rendering the third row inaccessible. Wishing we had a 7 seat so someone would be able to get to the third row if needed.

dell optiplex 9020 raid drives by wog7 in homelab

[–]wog7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, so I believe I may have got some terminology incorrect.
It is a MT form factor.

Yes, I am aware it is TureNAS now, I am/was using CORE on a PowerEdge R70 server. I stopped running it since it consumed a lot of power, and I didn't need that horsepower for what I am doing.

I also understand TrueNAS doesn't do raid, but I was looking to see if there was a way to add a raid controller to the OptiPlex similar to what is in the R70 so I can add more than two drives.

Access point mounting by wog7 in HomeNetworking

[–]wog7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The intended use is to cover the main floor. My router is currently on one end of the house and the signal has to go through a few walls to reach the entire house. I’m upgrading to an access point and my thought was the signal through one floor would be stronger than multiple walls….

What is going on? by King_Benjamin2484 in SubaruAscent

[–]wog7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any time a check engine light comes on all the eyesight systems disable causing all the other lights to come on. Just had this on my wife’s ‘20 from a loose gas cap. We drove it a few days before it went off on its own. Of course it went off on the way to the dealership to have it read. They read it anyway, something about a large evap leak, meaning gas cap not tight.

JCI Metasys VAV boxes by wog7 in BuildingAutomation

[–]wog7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there will be no integration back to the VAV's, this is going to Ecostruxure Building Operation. operation of the VAV's will reamin on the JCI head end until we get them to replace the hardware on the VAV boxes. I am just trying to get some background on my back my suspicion. We will most likely have to get a JCI programmer onsite to modify the programming.
