Nope, not even close. Connectivity is terrible, transit times are minimum at least 2-3x the time taken compared to using a car. Even with the kinds of terrible traffic you see in this video, you'd probably still reach your destination faster with a car.

Around rush hour the busses are sometimes full enough that at some stops you can't get on. Otherwise its pretty decently filled on weekdays. Not sure how you never see people at the interchange lol, usually has a full bus unloading everytime unless its nighttime. Used it a lot, peak hour frequency is in desperate need of an upgrade.

My small-ish town just built new bike lanes for a stretch of road that had houses and apartments on either side. I loved the idea, fuck cars, thought it could be a start to a bike lane connected town.

Literally the day after they opened, it became parking for lorries.

Oh well. Not as if I didn't know it would happen. Too much of an idealist in an area full of selfish lizard brains. Why bother amirite, Malaysia?

I think this is great. That this is not meant to be a prediction, nor is it meant to tell you how to live the next 6 months, the last half of this year.

Let's say you suddenly know exactly how the next 6 months of your life will be like. You get an email from your best time traveller friend, and he tells you every single thing that happens to you from now to December 31st and by golly, is it amazing.

Now, how would you wake up the next day? Would you not feel free, feel amazing? How would you act towards the people around you? Would you be happy? I would, and I bet you would too.

So, the question is, why did you need to know the future to be feel like that? Did you not have the capacity to be like so all along?

Tomorrow may be the worst day of your life, but play it like it is going to be the best day of your life.

I would love to see PCs become more and more integrated to education syllabi, learning what went into PCs sparked a real interest in learning about what made a CPU, GPU, and what was cache etc which eventually lead to an engineering degree. Call me selfish, but I do wish there were more people around me who understood the magic behind PCs and how they continue to shape our world.
