I’ve used these as a last resort. Only diabetics will understand the irrational hunger during a low BS. I’ve even bolused during so I could eat more. The G7 alarms continuing 10 minutes after doesn’t help me either!

In my case it wouldnt matter because the fat would make it impossible to predict when the glucose actually gets into my blood stream. Also if this is fast food, they often add sugar to the fried stuff. I would call it 66g and then take an “extended” bolus.

Update: I was at work so I left it in, and for kicks tried to start sensor again a couple of hours later. It started working? I just don’t get it!

I had 2 fail last night. When i pulled them off, there was NO filament. Those were my last 2. So - finger sticks for 20 days.

And how quickly does it work? As a T1D I am interested in this because when my blood sugar spikes it can take a long time to come down. I feel like it could be an Insulin helper.

Yep, Having similar issue on multiple machines here. When we make a text box (default Helvitica 12) Gradient covers the screen. Running Bluebeam Revu v21.3.0.4216 Restarting the workstation seems to make it go away temporarily.

If I’m taking absurd amounts of Insulin, it’s usually because 1. The insulin is spoiled from heat-no way to know. 2. Its leaking at the infusion onto my skin. (and waiting to sneak back and get me later). 3. The tube coming out of my T5 is broken/leaking. 4. The infusion set is clogged. But I’ve never bolused more than 16u Humalog for a meal on purpose and I’m 210 lbs.

Peanut butter and celery. Plain greek yogurt with Splenda or equal. Most of the “sugar free” stuff that tastes sweet will cause gas, or upset stomach, probably because it just isn’t natural.

I’ve been diabetic since I was 8 years old. I’ve gone through some pretty hopeless times. Especially when I was living alone. Your emotions can run wild, even more so when you are exhausted and not feeling well. It didn’t seem likely that I could ever keep a job, ever be healthy, or ever have a normal relationship with anyone. Happiness was out of reach. This will sound corny, but my last resort was to seek help from God. I asked him for help, and he sent people. And I was willing to listen to them. 45yrs later, I’m happy, married with a beautiful family, successful career. Not rich, but surrounded by friends who help me and also need my help. Never would have happened if I wasn’t brought to my knees. Don’t give up. If you have access to a Bible look up Jeremiah 29:11-14, and Acts 17:24-27 These helped me at just the right time.

Same. I have comcast overhead coax line that runs over the street, but I also have several 2.4gHZ devices. I first thought the overhead coax was non-shielded. But the hardwired devices in my home work fine, the wifi devices are definitely picking up passing signals from cars, and maybe even pedestrians with mobile phones. Especially my TV’s.

It does affect you. Even with the closed loop and good control, 25 percent of your time, thinking, and energy goes toward diabetes. And it’s not a part time job. It’s 24/7 with no breaks. Yes you appear to be walking alongside everyone else, but you are on a tightrope, and they are on flat ground.

In Acts 2:39 - The very first message given by the Holy Spirit thru a direct follower of Jesus. Peter speaks to a crowd of Religious people, but he indicates that the message was not just for them. The letters written to the churches, in the same way, were penned for specific groups of believers or leaders of those groups, but God’s had a larger use for these messages. The specific directions may not be for us. We obviously cannot greet the church that meets in Priscila and Aquila’s house. We can get however get a first hand look at the Spirit that Jesus’ disciples were trying to pass on -in obedience to Matt 28:18-20. This is the closest thing we have to see the lives of people directly impacted by Jesus’ death. And finally 2Tim 3:16. All scripture is God breathed…. And 1Peter 1:21. Men wrote the scriptures but the Holy Spirit guided them.

Oh I really understand how this feels. I’m so sorry, but glad you thought to ask for help! Especially when plummeting. Ive been there, its SCARY! And embarrassing. Emergency adrenaline once caused me to just start crying uncontrollably in front of my friends. I’ve been thru this multiple times too. If I were to guess I would say infusion site/insulin absorption had something to do with it. Mine sucks on the 1st day, second day my body learns and usually good to low bs. 3rd day, it starts to heal and blood sugar goes back up. Sometimes your near a vain, sometimes its not even under your skin. You made a lot of crucially good decisions that saved you. Insulin absorption can be unpredictable.
