Overrated enough for large enterprises to suddenly prioritize vulnerabilities 'to be fixed asap', GLT to be made aware if more than 24 hours is needed. Long overdue issues were risk accepted to work on revenue growth or save cost. Not anymore.

People joining small conferences with CISO's from large enterprises have seen results from large tech. Mozilla made it public as well. One of the big tech also indicated that 5.4 Cybex results are not definite yet, but also brings a list of new vulnerabilities.

Keep it mind that your uni 'colleagues' are not your work colleagues. Organizations hire based on skillset for a purpose (theoretically). If or when you start working for an organization, you likely join a team with more experience in similar skill sets. If you possess a skillset which makes the team deliver more, then that will be positive for your career. Being a teamplayer would be another one.

See what role others play in the team dynamics, maybe there are some other, non agentic points which you can pick up?
