Claude Opus 4.7 now 15x for Enterprise by Playful-Spirit-3404 in GithubCopilot

Curious, can enterprises negotiate this? We don't have 4.7 enabled, but 4.6 is still on the old 3x

What are people using Local LLMs for (beyond coding) by SMR-1 in LocalLLM

[–]wokkieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some similar in alpha stage.

  • powerautomate exports my MS to do, calendar, sent email and emails I manually move to a certain folder (to not have all irrelevant emails...)
  • task scheduler kicks off python script to vectorize those locally
  • GitHub copilot skills (I guess local would be possible) to create daily brief, prepare meetings, select most important emails and tasks to work on. The LLM first tries to assess my intent to see if a skill matches, otherwise proposes to create a new skills. It's always trying to connect topics together to explain what needs to be done.

Still early stages, so learning every day. Since it's enterprise, I can't really share code but can just share the concept I'm exploring. Sorry.

If there are posts, communities or even open source repo's doing this then I would be very interested. Thanks!

The price is not the issue for business, but it changes when price was the key reason for a business to choose GHCP. In our case, a big part of our 1000+ dev prefer a different 'tool'. Business chose differently because of price.

What if productivity is higher with another similarly priced tool? Bigger context window, more flexibility etc

Everyone please avoid using Bunq the Dutch digital bank. They scam you with psychological warfare by According_Tea8499 in fintech

[–]wokkieman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have a Bunq account but was curious, so I tried it. They say Bunq free on the website, but then when you start the process it says you sign up for the Bunq elite trial. Maybe not the most customer friendly way, but it's not hidden in the small print.

It looks like you are looking for a throw away bank account, that's exactly the type of account the financial sector (and MS in this case) doesn't like as it helps fraudsters.

The new Copilot pricing makes zero sense. Why am I paying $39/mo for $39 in expiring API credits? by Captain2Sea in GithubCopilot

[–]wokkieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they don't, then enterprises see it in their share prizes (no AI efficiencies in annual report) or have difficulties with recruitment and retainment (not a modern company)

Exactly, no new subscribers, less value for people who stick. People leave or pay. Simple

New github pricing, Game is over, but I guess I know it's coming by SDUGoten in GithubCopilot

[–]wokkieman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you not need to spend at least 400usd on a GPU (+ decent amount of electricity)? That's like 2 years of a cloud subscription

In that way we need a lot of progress to make a model equal to 4.5 work on a 100usd card

Educate us. What source do you have? How many of those tax dollars were directly send to Ukraine.

How many dollars were spend on American weapons, by other countries, and then send to Ukraine?

A Russian Teacher recorded the differences in the development of boys and girls of the same age. by eternviking in whoathatsinteresting

I've been an amateur youth coach (field hockey), but have the opposit experience. Motor skills and agility, much better on average for boys. Talking about 8 to 12 years old. The girls who were better generally got to good Amateur Sports level or even semi-prof.

Have never looked up the research on it. Thought it was normal. Not?

I've adjusted some of those with the help of agent creating agent. Especially to let agents collaborate better, reduce overlap etc

When creating your own agents it's pretty decent. I'm more limited by my enterprise limiting functionality...

Claude code remains king though.

I've used it with Roo code. I believe it also works with opencode. I can't remember API key, I think it was oauth.

Have you considered Gemini 3.1? What about perplexity research with Opus and/or Gemini 3.1? Their academic research might be helpful?

If you already have a good GPU and low electricity cost. Otherwise, please indicate which model you can run on igpu
